* [[Franchise/StarWars Jabba the Hutt]], who downright names [[JabbaTableManners our trope for eating sloppily]].sloppily]]; as indicated by his name, Jabba (full name Jabba Desilijic Tiure) is a Hutt, an entire ''race'' of fat slobs and what can best be described as enormous, slug-like creatures with a few humanoid features. The Hutts are not only gluttonous, but also greedy, cruel and almost universally criminals, usually [[TheMafia the organized kind]]. Jabba, himself one of the most powerful crime lords on the desert planet Tatooine, actually manages to outdo the rest of his species - he's even fatter and more slovenly than most Hutts, and is a repulsive lech on top of that, keeping slave girls from humanoid species chained up in his throne room.

* ''Literature/TheDresdenFiles'': Ronald Carmichael is a one of the cop's in Murphy's unit, who seems to emanate some kind of aura which causes suits to crumple and ties to grow ketchup stains. He is also an investigator even Harry (with whom he shares a mutual distrust) describes as "razor-sharp", [[ObfuscatingStupidity and he likes it when perps think they're dealing with a]] FatIdiot.

Added DiffLines:

* A downplayed and heroic version in ''Literature/LockwoodAndCo'' with George, who's overweight, badly-dressed and a messy housemate, prone to leaving clothes scattered around the place...and also a genius researcher and paranormal expert. He also bathes fairly regularly (though occasionally with an evil haunted skull).

* One of the most -[[{{Squick}} ahem]]- memorable segments from HBO Family’s WesternAnimation/{{Crashbox}} is the “Revolting Slob.” The sequence consists of the titular Slob eating beans in a disgustingly messy home while a narrator teaches the viewer vocabulary words based on his actions. Then for some reason he blows up.

It is perhaps worth noting that there is some TruthInTelevision to this trope. Unlike muscle, fat is extra mass that does not help you move. It adds to your inertia and reduces your agility. The more massive you are, the more difficult it is to perform delicate tasks, such as, say, eating neatly. Needless to say, depictions of this trope are nuanced and complicated.

The more massive you are, the more difficult it is to perform delicate tasks, such as, say, eating neatly. More unfortunately, there's also evidence that excessive fat can affect the limbic system, generally tilting it towards depression and a resulting lack of motivation ''to'' clean up after oneself. Needless to say, depictions of this trope are nuanced and complicated.

* ''Film/TheWhale'': PlayedForDrama and {{Deconstructed|Trope}}. Even though he's aware of his horrendous health, [[Creator/BrendenFraser Charlie]] continues to binge eat at excessive amounts instead of taking proper care of himself at the insistence of Liz. His obesity and binge eating is depicted as [[FreudianExcuse a coping mechanism to the immense trauma he has faced in his life]]. The "slob" part is also downplayed in that, outside of his eating habits, he does put ''some'' effort into taking care of himself and his appearance, such as shaving and showering.
