* When ''Comicbook/{{Thunderbolts}}'' turned Screaming Mimi into Songbird, what used to be a FashionVictimVillain was now quite a pretty woman, even if with heavy competition in the team - a goon attacking the Thunderbolts described Songbird as "skinny chick" as opposed to Moonstone\Meteorite being "a blonde bombshell". * ''Videogame/RiskOfRain2'': The original ''Videogame/RiskOfRain'' had all characters given low-def sprites even in the character selection screen, thus leaving genders ambiguous other than what the descriptions said. In the sequel, however, the leap to 3D has allowed more definition... and this trope kicks in with the Huntress, who gets a skintight suit and the bottom-heaviness to show it off.

** After the Volume 3 TimeSkip, Team RWBY are given older appearances. The youngest, Ruby, gets noticeably curvier and a "tavern maid" outfit to match, Weiss has a blue and white socialite outfit with a short skirt that shows off far longer, more shapely legs, and Blake gets a form-fitting, midriff-bearing, duster-coat ensemble. Yang on the other hand gets the ''reverse'' treatment, being a straight-up MsFanservice before but getting a new biker girl outfit that shows off less of her figure.
** The Volume 7 outfit changes make the characters look more adult. While none get more revealing, Weiss and Blake gain larger cup sizes, with outfits that emphasise their curves without revealing them (such as a coat-covered catsuit for Blake).

* In ''VideoGame/BlazblueCrossTagBattle'''s artwork and anime-styled trailers and intro sequences, all of the WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} heroines bar Weiss have had a bust size boost. Ruby's outfit is a slightly modified version of her Beacon saga outfit that puts more emphasis on her chest, Blake has received a bust upgrade, and Yang (who was already a really buxom MsFanservice) practically has GagBoobs by now. Amusingly, Weiss (who is fanonically depicted as having ACupAngst) has ''not'' had this treatment[[note]][[ShesGotLegs Though fans of Weiss would fire back that she has her own appeal]][[/note]], and the actual in-game sprites are faithful to how they look in the show.

That being said, some of her new costumes - particularly the school uniform and the sporty bikini - [[ShesGotLegs accentuate her legs]] in ways her previous look didn't.

* Inverted with Angelika and Julie in ''Webcomic/OurLittleAdventure''. By the time the group reaches Autumnson, Angelika already switched to a more conservative and DarkerAndEdgier costume switch that no longer has her [[BareYourMidriff baring her midriff]] and showing off her [[ShesGotLegs naked legs]]. Julie follows the same route after they enter the city. This is possibly [[JustifiedTrope justified]] due to Summer being over in the story, and it's not as warm out.

* A notable variation in VideoGame/RuneFactoryFrontier, occurring within the course of a single installment: romantic interest Eunice begins the game visibly overweight, but as part of her CharacterDevelopment, she can make a conscious decision to diet and slim down, to the point that she will [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration flat-out refuse sweets given to her as gifts]]. Doing so results in a physical appearance more in line with the series' typical character designs (slim and "cute"), and is the only way to see her in a swimsuit.

* VideoGame/MassEffect3 made the female cast across the board more conventionally attractive, generally by adding make-up or increasing their bra size. Ashley Williams in particular got heavily redesigned between the second and third games. Besides the changes that everyone got, her practical hair bun got replaced with shoulder-length model hair, and her modest hardsuit got replaced with a minidress, tight pants and high heels.

* In Franchise/{{Double Dragon}}, token female [[WhipItGood whip-wielding]] mook Linda has gotten steadily more fanservicey. In ''1'' she had bare shoulders and wore purple, but was otherwise barely recognizable as female. In ''2'' and most of the arcade versions she was a reasonably buxom but otherwise rather butch punk with a mohawk. She was then absent until the Super Nintendo version of ''Battletoads & Double Dragon'', where she was a busty blonde in a midriff shirt and camo. Then ''Neon'' turned her into a Main/{{Dominatrix}} and upgraded the fanservice to the point of parody.

Named after what Microsoft calls its minor Windows upgrades, and, of course, FanService. (In fact, a service pack or patch is often used to pull this off in video games.)

** Azura, the Daedric Prince of Dawn and Dusk, inverts the trope. In ''Daggerfall'', her sprite is actually topless. In ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIIIMorrowind Morrowind]]'' and ''Oblivion'', her statues are topless but [[NippleAndDimed lacking]] in [[BarbieDollAnatomy details]]. Her avatar which appears in ''Morrowind'' and ''Tribunal'' is much more modestly dressed. Her statues in ''Skyrim'' and ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsOnline Online]]'' are no longer topless.

** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX2'' has two examples in Yuna and Rikku. In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX'', Rikku wears a vest and hotpants, but trades that for a thong[=/=]bikini miniskirt combo in the sequel. Yuna, on the other hand, goes from a conservatively dressed (albeit with black bra showing) summoner, to hot pants and a cleavage baring halter top complete with the Zanarkand Abes logo hanging there.

* Sonya Blade of ''Franchise/MortalKombat''. In the first game she wore a green top and pants that bore her midriff but was still fairly covered up. ''[[VideoGame/MortalKombatDeadlyAlliance Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance]]'' has her in a white crop top, tight leather pants and her thong strap visible on her hips. ''VideoGame/{{Mortal Kombat|9}}'' has a bullet proof vest, tight black leather pants and CombatStilettos. ''[[VideoGame/MortalKombatX Mortal Kombat X]]'' has her going back to a more conservative look.

* Irene Lew from ''VideoGame/NinjaGaiden'' [[spoiler: and ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive'']], started out as a modestly attractive brunette in the original NES trilogy, then graduates into a tall, shapely, blonde ActionGirl in the newer ''VideoGame/NinjaGaiden'' [[spoiler: and ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive'']] games.

** Nocturnal, the [[OurGodsAreDifferent Daedric Prince]] of [[TheSacredDarkness Night and Darkness]], has received this treatment throughout the series. Her ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim Skyrim]]'' depiction wears a black cloak which barely covers her legs, completely exposing the thighs, while the top [[AbsoluteCleavage reveals her cleavage down to her belly]]. This is in contrast to her ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIIDaggerfall Daggerfall]]'' and ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIVOblivion Oblivion]]'' appearances, which instead have her in a robe that is far less revealing.

** A little bit more happened in the Volume 7 outfit change. None of them got any more revealing, but Weiss' chest is noticeably bigger. Blake also goes up a cup size or two, and she gets a skintight catsuit, but doesn't expose her midsection anymore.

** ''VideoGame/SoulcaliburVI'' in general is a noticeable example. While taking place at around the era of the original ''Soulcalibur'', and most of the ladies get recreations of their classic outfits, they're made to be skimpier designs while maintaining if not enhancing their proportions from later games.

* Amelia in ''LightNovel/{{Slayers}}: The Hourglass of Falces'' got a bust upgrade and swapped out her [[http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9JzlcMeqdM8/TnCIWODMrbI/AAAAAAAACBE/1VXD6axmuNQ/s1600/Amelia%2BWil%2BTesla%2BSaillune.jpg old pants]] for a miniskirt. ** Beyond Dot, after their PlotRelevantAgeUp AndrAIa and Enzo or, rather, Matrix become one stunning couple. AndrAIa gets skin-tight pans, high-heeled boots, a belly button ring, and a bikini top that shows A LOT of cleavage. On his end, Matrix is undoubtedly the most sexualized male character in the show. With his muscles, sleeveless leather vest, tight jeans, earring, tattoo, and scars, Matrix checks all the boxes of the 'Hot Bad Boy' archetype.

* Motoko Kusanagi seems to have had a breast-size-upgrade between the first season of ''Anime/GhostInTheShellStandAloneComplex'' and ''[=SAC: 2nd GiG=]''. She also started to wear pants, around the same time, so this goes both ways. She gets a new body near the end of the first season. It's the same body model that she was using before, and she mentions that because she's working for the government, it has modified specifications well beyond standard legal limits. This basically means that she actually gave ''herself'' a FanServicePack. Her roommate Kurtan is sexually aroused by this. Also on meta level, her appearance in Creator/MamoruOshii's movie her appearance was heavily built and utilitarian with almost masculine facial features and her personality is cold and asexual. ''Stand Alone Complex'' gave her a sense of humour and occasional flirty moments, although this is in fact closer to characterization in Creator/MasamuneShirow's original manga.

* In [[http://www.fanfiction.net/~mrevil Mr. Evil's]] ''WesternAnimation/CodeLyoko'' Fanfic series ''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2680689/1/Lyoko_Championship Lyoko Championship]]'', the OriginalCharacter Susan Knives is described to have increase in her FanServicePack with each new story.

* Amber from ''Webcomic/{{Shortpacked}}'' has been [[http://shortpacked.com/comic/book-1-brings-back-the-80s/06-mrs-greg-killmaster/a-62/ getting]] [[http://shortpacked.com/comic/book-2-pulls-the-drama-tag/07-bride-of-faz/corset/ progressively]] [[http://shortpacked.com/comic/book-7/03-summer-slump/nocorset/ hotter]] with each makeover, as her self-confidence increased.

* In the ''VisualNovel/ZeroEscape'' series, Clover went from wearing an outfit that had a short skirt but was otherwise modest in ''VisualNovel/NineHoursNinePersonsNineDoors'' to wearing what can be best be described as "Sexy [[WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones Pebbles Flintstone]] Halloween Costume" in ''VisualNovel/VirtuesLastReward'', with a pink leopard-print FurBikini top, [[WhoWearsShortShorts short shorts]], [[ZettaiRyouiki thigh-high stockings]], and high heels. Her wardrobe change seems to be out of admiration for and a desire to emulate her friend and co-worker Alice, who dresses even more {{Stripperiffic}}ally.

** Author Eiichiro Oda's standard female character design has evolved into something more sexualized and less realistic over time. The overall design of women has shifted, so long as they're not [[{{Gonk}} supposed to be ugly]]. Nami's breasts were a relatively modest size at the beginning of the story, but they've grown into a set the likes of which most real women would be hard-pressed to match. She also lost a considerable amount of girth from her waist and widened a bit in the hips. WordOfGod states that this is because she is a maturing young woman... which doesn't explain why her breasts have been so inconsistently large, varying in size widely (although generally gaining in mass on average) ever since she joined the Straw Hat Pirates.

* Fusing with Amon in ''Manga/{{Devilman}}'' not only grants you superpowers and a demonic SuperMode, but evidently a killer human body (and less compunction to [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl cover it up]]) as well. Miki even lampshades this in ''Devilman Grimoire'', jokingly wishing ''she'' had been possessed after seeing the improvements Amon made to Akira's build.
