* In ''MahouSenseiNegima'', it isn't so much that the characters are getting more attractive, so much we [[IncrediblyLamePun * cough* ]] [[FanService see more of them]] as the series progresses. Of course, Negi's class as a whole ''is'' a fan service pack to begin with...

** It also explicitly notes when Yuna undergoes a [[IfYouKnowWhatIMean growth spurt]], which becomes the source of a large (* wince* ) amount of humor later on.

* Amelia in ''{{Slayers}} : The Hourglass of Falces'' got a bust upgrade and swapped out her old pants for a miniskirt. The change is so noticeable that before the story begins proper, an {{Omake}} has to explain why.
* In the beginning of ''ChronoCrusade'', Rosette has a uniform that isn't too unbelievable for a nun--a baggy blue dress that's only lent shape by an ammo belt around her waist, and bloomers that go down to her ankles. However, when she moves up a class in the Order and gets her new militia uniform, her uniform is changed to have her wear a corset and a skirt that's slit nearly to her waist, as well as a short pair of bloomers that might as well be ruffly booty shorts. The anime takes this even further, appearing to increase her cup size and discarding the bloomers entirely for a pair of tight, white panties.

* Willow in ''BuffyTheVampireSlayer''. Her wardrobe started off decidedly frumpy, as though she had been dressed by her mom, then became progressively trendier, moving on to cute. This was half ExecutiveMeddling (with corresponding WriterRevolt) and half intentional on the part of the writers to show her getting more outgoing and so forth as she grew up.

* Otacon from ''MetalGearSolid'', who was upgraded from a standard ratty-looking nerd into an exceptionally lovely HollywoodNerd (probably to compensate for [[PlotRelevantAgeUp what happens to Snake]]. And Solid Snake himself. He was average-to-good-looking in ''MetalGear 1'''s concept art and pretty ugly and middle-aged in ''MetalGear 2''`s, but in ''MetalGearSolid'' he was entirely redesigned and ended up completely ''smoking''.

* Taokaka in ''{{BlazBlue}}'' has more noticable... assets in the sequel. Which is [[TheFaceless kind of an odd choice for a character to apply this trope to]].

* Miu of ''KenichiTheMightiestDisciple'' already had large-ish round breasts, but it was at least somewhat in proportion. Even by chapter 267, [[http://www.mangafox.com/manga/history_s_strongest_disciple_kenichi/v29/c267/ no change]]. Then they started to up her cup sizes. Chapter 278, [[http://www.mangafox.com/manga/history_s_strongest_disciple_kenichi/v31/c278/4.html somewhat bigger]]. By ch. 292, [[http://www.mangafox.com/manga/history_s_strongest_disciple_kenichi/v32/c292/2.html she's bigger than]] [[SexyMentor Shigure]]. By 305, [[ http://www.mangafox.com/manga/history_s_strongest_disciple_kenichi/v33/c305/12.html it's getting kinda silly]].

When a character, usually a female character, gets made more attractive during the run of a show. Sometimes justified as [[SheIsAllGrownUp the actions of puberty]], when a younger character starts filling out as they grow up.

** When ''WorldOfWarcraft'' launched, there were only a few dozen High Elves in the game, all NPCs, all of them were fishes out of water in their stories, and Sylvanas was the only undead one. Considering all that, Blizzard probably decided it wasn't worth the trouble to make a unique character model for her at the time. Then the first expansion came, which included a few more High Elves and updated their appearances but Sylvanas was still the only undead one, which might be why she was left with the appearance of a Night Elf. In the second expansion, though, she was getting more time in the main story, so keeping her as a Night Elf would have been really glaring.

* In ''Batman:TheAnimatedSeries'', D. A. Janet Van Dorn goes from middle-aged in season 1 to hot enough to date Bruce Wayne in season 2.

Which means that she actually gave ''herself'' a FanServicePack.
* ''TengenToppaGurrenLagann'' had Nia, who went from {{Moe}} girl to to straight out hot post-TimeSkip.
* Though it was in the outfits only, several of the seven [[spoiler:surviving members of the Northern Campaign]] in ''{{Claymore}}'' went from the skin-tight but fairly conservative Claymore uniforms to black uniforms that flash a bit of thigh post TimeSkip, and along with a few skirts one basically wears a leotard and no pants with ZettaiRyouiki.
* Nami from ''OnePiece'' have developed her rack into giants. WordOfGod states that she is maturing, which doesn't explain why they more or less reset at the beginning of every arc. Also, {{The Movie}}s up the {{Gainaxing}}.

* Near the end of the ''[[RanmaOneHalf Ranma 1/2]]'' manga, Akane - whom the other girls, Ranma included, consider a {{Pettanko}} even if it's just by comparison) is very happy about having grown up. She doesn't even mind if no one else notices, it'll be her secret pride. But then her pride and happiness are shattered when Ranma, who had always been better built, turns out to have grown up ''too''...
* ''[=~Bastard!!~=]'''s female character's bust size slowly but steadily increase over time. The latest issues have taken this to truly over-the-top heights.
* Every single character in KatekyoHitmanReborn due in part to ArtEvolution. Most noticable with the main character Tsuna who changes from an ugly ButtMonkey into a CuteShotaroBoy and Xanxus who looks like he had a chin job during the TimeSkip.
* ''RiskySafety'' had two episodes where the titular pair turned the story of Momotaro into a SpaceOpera. During the "story" parts of the episodes, Risky was shown as being a lot bustier than she really is. Not only that, but at one point there were two [[MaleGaze worm's eye shots]] of her: one from the front, and one from the back.

Roughly 170 chapters later, she's shed some of the more blatantly creepy {{Lolicon}} aspects to her design (though kept just enough to still hit that fetish), traded in her dress for a form-fitting outfit, gained features that are smoother and more natural looking, with the result being that a character who was initially pretty disturbing in appearance has ended up really cute.

** Why are there never "curves in all the wrong places", anyway? It'd be a nice subversion, presuming it's in a written format so we don't have to look at it.

* Pam Beesly from ''TheOffice'', in season 4, after she officially became [[spoiler: Jim's girlfriend]] and pledged to be a more assertive person. She gets rid of the ponytail and wears more stylish clothes. Of course, as always, YourMileageMayVary.

** Nami tends to be the front end of breast-growth speculation. At the beginning of the manga, she had average, maybe orange-sized breasts. Pretty basic and subtle. However, due to changes in Oda's art style AND the animation, they just got bigger and bigger. It's also worth noting that Nami's breasts get bigger in the anime the more she fights, quickly resetting once danger is out of the way. Robin doesn't seem to have this problem at all - they just stay bigger-than-average.

* Near the end of the ''[[RanmaOneHalf Ranma 1/2]]'' manga, Akane (whom the other girls, Ranma included, consider a {{Pettanko}} even if it's just by comparison) is very happy about having grown up. ** Which is odd, as if you challenge any of the other Handmaidens to a duel on Telos they are fine with wearing the same tight white jumpsuit during the fight. Perhaps she is giving an excuse for showing off to the Exile?
*** Or perhaps she was the only one giving him the respect of considering a duel with him to be proper. The others might have ignored this because they did not believe the Exile to the worthy of a traditional duel.

* As seen in the page picture, Sylvanas Windrunner's original model in ''WorldOfWarcraft'' was not only incorrect to what she was (millions of players who didn't read the manual were left thinking she were a Night Elf instead of a High Elf), but not particularly smexy. "We can't have this on our undead elf DarkActionGirl", said BlizzardEntertainment and changed her for the better.

* Joanna Dark from ''{{Perfect Dark}}'' went from looking like [[http://perfectdark.retropixel.net/pd/renders/jodark_pd_08.jpg this]] in the first game, to looking like [[http://perfectdark.retropixel.net/pdzero/renders/jodark_pdz_07_sm.jpg this]] in the second one.
** And the second game was a ''prequel''. Maybe she had them reduced for stealth purposes.

* Parodied in ''TheVentureBrothers'', when Brock Samson's [[DrillSergeantNasty old mentor]] gets an EasySexChange.
** Played straight with Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's costume change.

* A debatable example--after the incident with Asteroid M in ''XMenEvolution'', Mystique ended up changing from her comic outfit into a leather crop top, miniskirt, and matching high-heeled boots. There are a few who might think she was better before, or that each form had its ups and downs.

As part of her next experience level package, Marcy gains "Hips and boobs", and DAMN does she look hot! Though her newly enhanced physique gets toned down in subsequent instalments (Darn it).
** And in a moment of utter brilliance - Brent predicted the whole event years ago, as an out of continuity joke(at the time). Kurtz keeping up with his own continuity, over five years later on a nearly daily strip? That's ''awesome'' right there.

* The NeverwinterNights module creating community has several ''literal'' fan service packs, especially the haks that accompany A Dance With Rogues.

* Pretty much the entire cast in the ''HarryPotter'' movies. Justified in that that the actors grew up along with the series, but the filmmakers do seem to delight in getting Hermione dolled up, putting Harry in bubble baths, and putting muscle shirts on Ron in the later films.

* In ''KnightOfTheOldRepublic'', The Handmaiden starts out wearing a sensible white outfit that, while being a little tighter than would occur in reality, did cover her from head to toe. Challenge her to a duel, and she shows up in her underwear (Echani tradition dictates fighting in unrestrictive clothing).

** The ponytail grows on people.

* [[Comicbook/Xmen Kitty Pryde]] has always been cute (if sometimes showing dubious taste in costumes) but definitely got hotter over the years.

**That's almost a case of ValuesDissonance . When she was created, her outfit was almost scandalous in how revealing it was. Also, the original outfit had a star spangled skirt in her first appearance, which soon changed when the artist noted he had problems drawing action scenes as almost any angle would eventually show her underwear.
