A type of OriginalCharacter of the SailorEarth variety, Fan-Created Offspring are a simple way to show that the characters are now well into adulthood, and can be used to explore how the characters act as parents. They are also frequently created as the logical extension of a {{ship|ping}}, canon or not, and can become a RecurringFanonCharacter among shippers. Often they will be PatchworkKids, strongly taking after both parents. They can star in a SpinOffspring story, either by themselves or alongside any canon children.
