Subverted in that he didn't actively rebel and is only fallen by accident (though he soon [[CorruptTheCutie discovers the perks]] of no longer being InvisibleToNormals). Later on we meet other angels who ''want'' to damage their halos and experience the pleasures of the flesh.

* ''VisualNovel/ShallWeDateObeyMe'' has the PlayerCharacter move into a dorm with seven demon brothers, all of whom were angels who fell after joining the rebellion of Lucifer, the eldest brother.

Thanks to some [[SatanIsGood modern interpretations]] and the tendency to side with underdogs, fallen angels are often portrayed sympathetically nowadays: often as rebellious victims of CelestialBureaucracy and LightIsNotGood like in ''Film/{{Bedazzled 1967}}'', or perhaps as {{lovable rogue}}s like in ''Film/TimeBandits''. Often portrayed as regular angels, but with [[SensibleHeroesSkimpyVillains skimpier outfits]] (often with a [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver red and black motif]]) and a bit sluttier personalities (they're usually female, because of women's corruptible nature. Think Adam and Eve).

* ''LightNovel/ThatTimeIGotReincarnatedAsASlime'': The "Sleeping Ruler" Dino is a [[DemonLordsAndArchdevil True Demon Lord]] that is a fallen angel. At first glance you wouldn't know it since, aside from his silver hair with purple streaks, he looks like an otherwise normal guy, if [[LazyBum lethargic and work-adverse to the extreme]]. His two "subordinates"/friends are also fallen. Normally, angels are [[HolyBurnsEvil too aligned to the Holy element to allow the demonic Demon Lord Seed to take root]], but his "impurity" allows him to be an exception. The reason he's a fallen is because [[spoiler:when [[DragonsAreDivine True Dragon]] [[GodIsDead Veldanava died]], in a rage he descended from Heaven and wiped out the nation that was responsible to the last inhabitant and almost went on a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum before he saw Veldanava's infant daughter Milim Nava and couldn't bring himself to go through with it.]]

However, he turned against the others out of jealousy towards Irin and spitefully created the Moria to destroy the gods' creation. Unlike most examples, the player never gets to see Zardon's original angelic form, [[spoiler:though his FinalBoss form has black wings to hint at what he used to look like.]]

* ''Webcomic/{{MAG ISA}}'': [[http://mag-isa.thecomicseries.com/comics/pl/119731 Lucia]] gets mistaken for Lucifer a lot. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Who knows?

** It's implied in the game's epilogue that's Azazel's extended time around the demons is resulting in her beginning to go through the process of falling. This gets expanded upon in the sequel comics, which show that her black hair that she shares with all the other angels in beginning to change into the MysticalWhiteHair all the demons have, and is also starting to grow horns. Azazel is in complete denial about all of this, however, claiming that [[FlatEarthAtheist falling is just a myth told to angels by the church]] to ScareEmStraight. ''Examtaker'', a bonus chapter released for the game's first anniversary, reveals that [[spoiler:Azazel eventually falls completely and becomes the demon Loremaster, [[HellHasNewManagement then somehow manages to displace Lucifer and takes over as the ruler of Hell]]. She's '''''[[ImplausibleDeniability still]]''''' in denial over the idea that she's fallen, however]].

** Several of demons in Helltaker's harem are stated to be these, though outside of Lucifer and Judgement, who are stated to have once been angels by Justice in one of the game's sequel comics, it's unknown which ones are former angels and which ones were always demons.

* ''VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising'': One of the early concepts was that Pit (now an adult) was cursed for thousands of years and had become a Fallen Angel due to a crime, with [[TattooedCrook a tattoo bearing an inscription of said crime]]. This idea was dropped after a very poor reception.
** However, one of Pit's {{Palette Swap}}s in ''[[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' shows him with a dark outfit and black wings. According to WordOfGod, it was made to make him look like a fallen angel. Said costume was the inspiration for Dark Pit in ''Uprising''.

** Another third-party setting, ''TableTopGame/GrimHollow'' has a version of this as one of its PC races: after a series of disastrous events ended with the entire pantheon of Etharis [[GodIsDead dead]] or [[HaveYouSeenMyGod missing]], many of their angels were severely weakened, causing them to fall to the material plane and rendering them functionally human. Many of the Downcast, as they're called, are more than a little bitter about it, but unlike most examples of the trope they don't even have a god left to direct their anger at.

** ''Fanfic/HowILostMyMother'' offers Cozy Glow, the daughter of Celestia who was prophecized to cause the downfall of Equestria because of her Magic. Celestia seals away Cozy's Magic, [[LaserGuidedAmnesia along with erasing all memory]] [[HideTheEvidence and evidence]] of her connection with Celestia from the greater public on top of banishing her from Canterlot. [[spoiler:turns out that it was a SelfFulfillingProphecy and Cozy [[SanitySlippage suffered from being]] [[GoMadFromTheIsolation alone for so many years]] that she eventually [[GoneHorriblyRight became the very monster that Celestia was warned she might become]].]]

* The ''Fanfic/PonyPOVSeries'' has Celestia and Luna's brother [[SatanicArchetype Morning Star]] -- originally created to be the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Perfection and Beauty, he instead came to represent Temptation and Evil, and after trying to overthrow the [[TopGod Elders]], he was [[SealedEvilInACan sealed away]]. He was released by the Draconequi to fight on their side during their war with the Alicorns (during which he played EvilMentor to Discord); while his fate is never shown, WordOfGod is that he was killed during the war (though given the nature of the Alicorns, how "dead" he is is debatable) or imprisoned in {{Hell}} as part of the peace treaty. To futher this, it's revealed Fallen Alicorns are called Devils.
** Discord also qualifies, as his species, the Draconequi, are benevolent and work alongside the Alicorns, even though they're GoodIsNotNice. Discord fell [[spoiler:ate his own brother]] and became an EvilOverlord. To drive the point home, it's revealed that Fallen Draconequi like Discord are known as Demons.
