* The teacher in ''Manga/ASilentVoice'', who not only actively allows for a deaf student of his to be bullied and tormented constantly, finds it fun to watch and even ''encourages'' it. When he and the class are in danger of being called out for this, he uses one of his students as a scapegoat, shifting all blame onto him. Said student spends the rest of the year facing ''worse'' torment then the deaf girl and once again the teacher allows and encourages it readily.

* ''VideoGame/LittleNightmares'' has, well, the Teacher. She's a MonstrousHumanoid who can [[LongNeck stretch her neck to extreme limits]]. She is implied to be abusive towards her students both within the game itself and in promotional material, and she will attempt to catch and kill Mono if she finds him wandering throughout her school.

* Miss Gaunt in ''Ghosts of Literature/FearStreet: Who's Been Sleeping in my Grave?''.

* An evil teacher is featured in the music video for [[TwistedSister Twisted Sister's]] "I Wanna Rock". The teacher is seen giving his student's three hours of detention in the basement and trying to murder Twisted Sister with [[HoistByHisOwnPetard explosives]].

* Kitano in ''Film/BattleRoyale''. Although this is almost [[JustifiedTrope justified]] by the fact that the world has gone to hell and the students are unruly to the point of stabbing him at random in the hall. He doesn't actually do anything malevolent to them until after they've left school and he enrolls them in the BR program
* Sam Lombardo in ''Film/WildThings'' is a guidance counselor at a prestigious Florida high school who rapes one of his students when he gets the chance. [[spoiler:Before it's revealed that he's a different kind of bad, as they were working together to con the girl's rich mom out of millions of dollars. Sam just seems to be a lying sleazeball...but at the end we learn that he's been sleeping with Kelly for a long time, thereby committing ''statutory'' rape.]]
* The Assistant Principal, and the super-teachers he hires, in Korean action-comedy ''VolcanoHigh''.

* One of the biker gang in ''Film/WeirdScience'' indicates he is this as the bikers are retreating from Wyatt's house:

* All the movies in ''Film/TheSubstitute'' series will usually reveal that one of the other teachers (in the first film, it was ''the principal'') is actually controlling the criminal operation that the ActionHero teacher needs to dismantle.

* ''Literature/HarryPotter'': given that it's set in a WizardingSchool this isn't surprising. Most of the books had one, usually the [[HighTurnoverRate Defense Against the Dark Arts]] teacher. [[spoiler:Snape is presented as an Evil Teacher but proves not to be.]]

* Terence Fletcher from ''Film/Whiplash'' is a more realistic example. Fletcher's goal is to train the next great jazz musician, but will stoop to any low to achieve that goal. Even if it includes lying, harsh language, intimidation, or even physical violence.

* In ''VisualNovel/ChaosChild'', it is revealed both in [[spoiler:Hana's]] and [[spoiler:Serika's]] route that [[spoiler:Shuuichi Wakui]] was secretly working for the Committee of 300 all along.

* In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJnHkRgDnpc this trailer]] for ''VideoGame/WildStar'', the android teacher is rather cruel in her vivid descriptions of the brutal, gory deaths her students will likely suffer on Nexus, but then offers them an alternative (as in, a MercyKill.)

* ''VideoGame/{{Kindergarten}}'': Mrs. Applegate will give you gold stars for expelling students from her class, usually by violent and/or fatal means. She also wants to start a kiddie fighting ring.

* Mrs. [[SdrawkcabName Gorf]] in the ''Literature/WaysideSchool'' series, who turned students into apples. There were several other evil teachers as well.

''Way'' too many people like to portray Dumbledore as a ManipulativeBastard who's setting up Harry as a HeroicSacrifice to defeat [[BigBad Voldemort]], in some cases with Dumbledore planning to take all the glory immediately after. A few fanfics also have him paying off Ron/Hermione/Ginny/whoever to be Harry's "friend" as a way for Dumbledore to spy on him.

* ''Series/FamilyTies'' - Mr. Tedesco, in the 1983 episode "The Harder They Fall," thanks to his sadistic, insulting personality. Several students have complained to their parents about his abrasiveness and sometimes cruel behavior in the classroom, including the parent of a student he says is a "loser" and a "pimple-faced liar," while advising that another student and her mother need to lose weight. At one point, when family patriarch Steven is trying to get an explanation from Tedesco, he makes crude remarks about Elyse, who had earlier punched him out.
* ''Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder'' - Principal Randall, aka [[spoiler:aka Elsa, TheDragon to BigBad Mesogog. While Mesogog's human alter ego, Dr. Anton Mercer, also stood in as a teacher for a while, he doesn't count as Mercer was good and resisting Mesogog's control.]]

Zeno kills one father who discovers what's going on, and [[spoiler:almost kills another before his current pupil (the son of Zeno's intended target) turns the tables on him]].
* In ''Series/{{Smallville}}'' [[RoboticPsychopath Brainiac]] mixes this with BadassBookworm, EvilMentor, and OmnicidalManiac. No he's not your average History Prof.

* Mr. Sweeny in ''Series/{{Neds Declassified School Survival Guide}}'', most notably in the teacher's episode where he was actually labeled as the evil teacher who wants nothing more than to see you fail. Subverted later on, though, when Ned comes to the conclusion that no teachers are evil, and they just want to see you succeed. Along with this, Mr. Sweeny shows moments where he is actually a nice guy, just strict.
* All teachers in ''Series/HouseOfAnubis'' tend to fall into this trope, most notably Victor, Vera and Miss Denby.
** Also tends to be subverted, as this is mostly just a title, and many of the teachers still do genuinely care for the students despite being part of the 'evil' group, most notably Jason, who had actually tried to HELP Patricia in the beginning and still cared about her well-being even after his FaceHeelTurn. Later it was revealed that [[spoiler:he had only joined Victor and the others because he was suffering a degenerative illness and immortality was the only way to save his life.]] Other examples of this are Mrs. Andrews, who [[spoiler:quits the society and leaves the school as she feels the students should come first]] and Mr. Sweet, who despite almost always taking Victor's side, [[spoiler:is Eddie's father]] and whenever the students are in trouble, chooses them over Victor. He also left the society in the second season to focus on being a good principle.
* Parodied on ''Series/ANTFarm'' with Skidmore, as shown by the page quote.

* ''Series/TheDoctorBlakeMysteries'': When Blake and Lawson investigate a murder at their old school, the discover the deputy headmaster is a SchoolyardBullyAllGrownUp who still enjoys tormenting those weaker than himself.
* Mrs. Argent and Kate argent from ''Series/TeenWolf'': Both part of a hunter family that is out to kill most of the main characters and Kate even did burn down a house that contained all of Derek's family members and Mrs. Argent blatantly threating Scott with death if he continues to date her daughter.
* ''Series/TheFlash2014'' has The Thinker, aka Clifford [=DeVoe=], who is a former professor who becomes the BigBad of season 4.
