Mostly an {{anime}} trope (especially in GirlsLove works), the "her" in question is often an aloof-seeming, athletic high school student who is pursued by every sports club in school, and has the guys crooning "So hot!" as she goes past, and the girls squealing "So cool!" as she goes past. (None of these are a hard-and-fast requirement, but most of the examples will pick and choose at least one or two items off the "menu" of aloofness, athletic ability, and "cool" beauty.) She will often get chocolates from other girls on Valentine's Day. (Which is SeriousBusiness in Japan.)

(Though in some versions, there may be a bit of the DoubleStandard at work in why females don't seem to bother feeling bad about their crushes or attraction to other girls. In most of the western world, to a great extent [[GirlOnGirlIsHot a girl finding another girl attractive is "hot"]], while a guy finding another guy attractive is "totally gay, dude".)

Mostly this is exaggerated during the episode when he is transferred over to the girls side and the episode where they prepare for the beauty contest, but some after, she is barraged by girls in her class who want to get together with her. Kaede Sakura continually wants to date her, and subsequently hates him as a male.

** Orihime Inoue, anyone? Yumichika thinks she's gorgeous and is envious of her for it, Kon is quite fixated on her GagBoobs, Chizuru has blatant LesYay designs on her, and she's got some ShipTease moments with Tatsuki, Rukia and Rangiku, plus she has a pretty devoted female fanbase.

** Rangiku just got an epic moment of this when Tatsuki first sees her. Tatsuki: "Ichigo... you bastard why didn't you tell me you friends this beautiful". This puts her relationship with Orihime in a new light too, considering her obvious [[BuxomIsBetter preferences]].

* Setsuna Sakurazaki in ''MahouSenseiNegima'' gets endless flirtatious remarks from [[{{Ojou}} Konoka Konoe]] [[spoiler:(who's already kissed her for a [[TransformationTrinket pactio]])]], a [[PsychoLesbian psychotic]] attraction from Tsukuyomi and has been paired with Asuna in at least one CD drama [[NotWhatItLooksLike in a moment that wasn't what it looked like]]. She remains the series' center of {{Yuri}}.
** Actually I'm decently sure we are supposed to assume Konoe and Sakurazaki are together now, but with Konoe, it's kinda hard to tell.
* Nagisa from ''FutariWaPrettyCure'', who is the star lacrosse player of the school team and regularly gets love letters from fangirls. The boys are not nearly as interested in her as are the girls, because there are much more beautiful girls in the school. Enter her friendship with Honoka, aka Ms. Smart and Gorgeous. The two girls then start to draw the attention of each other's fanclub to themselves as well.

* If you follow the theory about Yui Hongo being her PsychoLesbian UnluckyChildhoodFriend, then Miaka Yuuki from ''FushigiYuugi'' counts.
* [[DeathNote Misa Amane]] is a gorgeous model, and the first time Light's sister sees her, she says, "She's my type!" Later, it's revealed that even [[spoiler:Rem, her Shinigami]] not only loves her, but is willing to die for her. Of course, she's [[SingleTargetSexuality Lightsexual]], and Light [[{{Asexuality}} has no romantic interest in anyone whatsoever that we can tell]], so AllLoveIsUnrequited there.

* Yumi from ''{{Maria-sama Ga Miteru}}'' manages to outshine most of the other popular girls in this regard during the course of the series--even [[OneeSama Sachiko]]. Sure, the [[OneGenderSchool setting]] evokes this trope, but the amount of girls standing in line to become Yumi's "soer" is nothing short of amazing, considering [[ShrinkingViolet how she started out]].

* To a degree, ActionMom Louise from ''FireEmblem 7''. The {{Shorttank}} Rebecca practically goes goo-gaa over her because she's so beautiful and elegant as well as a deadly Straight Arrow.

* The bulk of [[BritneySpears "If U Seek Amy,"]] appears to be built around this trope: "All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to '''if you seek Amy'''..."
