* There is in fact a serial killer who kills people in a manner kind of like this, except not in cars. He hides in peoples' homes while they are at work, and only comes out of his hiding place late at night when most people are asleep. Don't worry though, he doesn't go in for the killing people in their sleep schtick. He likes to sneak up on folks when they are on their computers late at night, intently focused on their monitors in their darkened rooms, before stabbing them with an ice pick.
