General clarification on work content

* ''Film/{{Besties}}'': The group of protagonist Nedjma films Zina while she's in a position that [[NotWhatItLooksLike looks like she's giving a guy a blowjob]], then they upload the video on a social media (implied to be Instagram). A few minutes later the video has already over 150 views and nasty/mocking comments. Zina's sister is naturally furious afterwards and comes to Nedjma and her group the next day at the laundromat to teach them the hard way that you don't mess with her sister. Then Nedjma deletes the video.

* Downplayed in ''Literature/MyYouthRomanticComedyIsWrongAsIExpected'': One of the first cases for the Service Club was about discovering who was cyberbullying [[BigManOnCampus Hayato Hayama]]'s [[SatelliteCharacter three male friends]] saying bad rumours about them. This case was managed by [[TheSnarkKnight Hachiman Hikigaya]] [[spoiler:by getting Hayama out of equation so the 3-member workgroup was fulfilled by the three guys so they can meet each other without having Hayato as the center]] and with this, the rumours are over and all is back to normal.

* A key plot point in ''[[Fanfic/RateThis Rate This (Trust is Hard to Come By)]]'' is that Alya and the rest of Marinette's [[FairWeatherFriend former friends]] have been harassing her, sending nasty texts and messages berating her for all of the ways she's [[MadeOutToBeAJerkass supposedly been bullying Lila]]. After the akuma Gardener hits all of Paris with magic that reveals just how much (or how little) Ladybug trusts them, Marinette justifies her high rating by declaring that she's [[FriendOfMaskedSelf friends with her alter ego]], and has been showing her everything they sent, much to their [[MassOhCrap collective horror]].

* In ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'', John and his friends are harassed by anonymous jerks online, in what is explicitly referred to as trolling [[spoiler: (and the trolls turn out to be from an alien race literally called trolls)]]. This is contrasted with later on in the narrative when Jane and her friends are jeered (''[[InsistentTerminology not]]'' trolled) via chat by Caliborn, who is the brother of one of their friends. After an incident where Caliborn calls Jane fat and terrible (while also hitting on her), which causes her to burst into tears, the narrative explicitly refers to this as cyberbullying. In both cases, the harassers have a near-omniscient view of the harassed's lives and actions, which they are able to exploit for their taunts.

* ''Film/Cyberbully2011'': The plot, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin as implied by the title]], is about protagonist Taylor suffering from severe cyberbullying after insulting an AlphaBitch online- most of the bullying involves SlutShaming and spreading rumors. Because the bullying is online, however, Taylor and her mother struggle to get any proper justice served over it.

* The KoreanDrama ''Series/SchoolgirlDetectives'' is about a [[KidDetective Detective]] {{School Club|Stories}} in an AllGirlSchool that solve mysteries in their school, since bullying to abortion and suicide. One of the cases was about a case of cyberbullying of a girl who was about to be DrivenToSuicide until the Club intervenes to stop it. Having a [[PlayfulHacker computing expert]] in the group certainly helped a lot in this case.
