* WebAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirlsDigitalSeries: The most clear example is the main characters' brand new wardrobe, but even the recurring although nameless extras at school get some of it.
** Each of the girls get a new wardrobe, getting rid of the skirts-and-big-boots that all of the main characters except Twilight and Sunset have worn since the first film in favor of more unique and character-fitting outfits. Rarity gets elegant gem-encrusted high heels and a pencil skirt, Fluttershy gets a green breezy dress, Pinkie Pie gets a mostly white and pink outfit with a rah-rah skirt, and Rainbow Dash gets what looks like sportswear with black tights. Applejack's outfit is actually fairly close in overall "look and feel" to her original clothes, but uses the newer, more natural boot and skirt designs. Sunset's design also echoes her original one, with an orange/black/purple color palette and a skirt, and Twilight's clothes bear a superficial similarity to the Equestrian Princess-as-human's (blue shirt with slightly poofy shoulders, bright pink bowtie, purple skirt).
** Some of the recurring background and supporting classmates also get wardrobe overhauls, some minor (Trixie swaps the giant boots for ankle-high boots with similar design) and some major (one of the most commonly recurring jocks -- a blue fellow usually seen accompanying a techie -- got a new jacket, shoes and pants).
** One girl previously seen as a Crystal Prep student seems to have transferred like Twilight and is now among the background students at CHS. Of course, she has ditched her uniform for new, casual clothes (and a fedora) in the process.
** Flash Sentry's first appearance in the series was as a cameo in "Queen of Clubs", where he looked as he always did (barring the LabcoatOfScienceAndMedicine). He then opens the "Best Trends Forever" episode with a light redesign: his hairstyle is subtly different, and his shoes use the new model instead of the big design used for non-Crystal Prep boys and men since the first film.

* VideoGame/Tekken
** Much like his ancestor from Soulcalibur, Yoshimitsu is a prime example of this trope. He undergoes this in every single game in the series, and it's become a long-standing tradition of Creator/BandaiNamco to give the character in both entries a new look in every new entry in the respective series. In 1 he was a traditional ninja with a hannya mask. In 2 he switched to an oni mask and gained a farmer's hat. 3 and Tag 1 started the legacy of him having a more futuristic, cyber-ninja look, and is considered to be by far his most iconic design as a whole, sporting a lightsaber katana and what appears to be a cross between a Xenomortph and a mushroom for a mask. In 4, he became a cyborg skeleton with beetle armor and dragonfly wings. 5 returns him to a more traditional samurai look but sporting futuristic elements still, serving as a reference to his ancestors from Soulcalibur. 6 is by far his most nightmarish look, resembling a skeletal demon with exposed muscle tissue and a demonic sword. As of 7 he sports his oddest look yet, wearing a sort of bio-organic alien armor with octopus tentacles around his head.

** ComicBook/PowerGirl has gone through a number of different costumes during her run. Her most well-known and original costume consists of a white leotard, blue boots and gloves, and a red cape. She's also worn outfits that either had no cape or changed the amount of blue fabric, as well as several full-body suits with white and gold. Only two of them lack her infamous CleavageWindow, however.

* ComicBook/Daredevil: Matt's costume was yellow and red before it became all red.
* ComicBook/IronMan started out with a gray, bulky suit of armor before it changed into the sleek red-and-gold armor it is now. Beyond that, smaller details are regularly in flux since Tony is always tweaking and enhancing his armor.

** Ichigo originally possessed a standard Soul Reaper uniform with a belt strapping his Zanpakutou sheath to his back. His Shikai transformed the belt to a red strap and his Bankai turned the kosode into a tattered long coat. Awakening his Fullbring gave him a uniform made of black flame that eventually transformed into a black bodysuit with white skeletal armour. The restoration of his Soul Reaper powers merged with the remnants of his Fullbring to add neck armour and X-shaped straps to his Shikai and Bankai uniforms. After training with Squad Zero, he obtains a tattered, black-streaked, white waist-cloth and shoulder armor that crosses his chest in an X-shape.
** Uryƫ Ishida is just as prone to costume changes. Flashbacks to his childhood have him wearing a long white training tunic with gray lines and the Quincy cross on the back. During his intial introduction, he wears an all white ensemble with blue lining consisting of a long white tunic with the Quincy cross on the back and white pants and matching shoes. For the mission to rescue Rukia, he dons a tweaked outfit that adds a new long tunic split up the sides, his Sanrei Glove with its solid form bow, a cross pattern to his shoes, and a short cape . After donning a Soul Reaper outfit for disguise, during the fight with Kurotsuchi his temporary Letzt Stil overlays a asymetrical white coat, a white half-waistcloth with blue patterning, a shoulder pauldron, and a energy "quiver". For the anime original Bount arc, he gains a new outfit with his temporary powers consisting of a white tailcoat with heavy blue lineing and the quincy cross with silver bracers on the arms used to manifest his bow, white pants and white shoes with a cross pattern. For the Arrancar arc, he wears a shorter white tunic with a blue side belt for the Seele Scheider as well as cuffs and a more elaborate cape with eupletetes and gold braid, retaining the white pants and shoes from previous outfits. For the Lost Agent arc he switches to a plain all white look with a black undershirt. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc switches the undershirt to blue and later his Sternritter uniform adds a military style white coat, belted at the waist with gold details over his Quincy tunic, sometimes with a long white cape.
** A number of Soul Reapers received outfit tweaks for the Lost Agent arc after the TimeSkip. Byakuya Kuchki swaps his kenseikan for a slimmer set of hairpieces, loses his scarf, and dons a modified haori with gold trim and tassels. Renji Abarai has longer hair, a maroon headband replace his white one, and long dark straps on each wrist with bandages over his arms. Kenpachi Zaraki loses his spiked hairdo and bells for a long messy haircut and swaps out his eyepatch. Toshiro Hitsugaya has longer less spiky hair, adds a long turquoise scarf, and replaces his green sash with a chain. Shinji Hirako returns to Soul Reaper robes and a captain's haori with a white necktie.

** Not counting her arsenal of armors, Erza's main outfit goes through five major overhauls over the manga(four in the anime which used her second outfit from the start.) Although the details change her general look remains much the same for her first three armors, a steel gray breastplate with pauldrons, gauntlets, over a blue skirt and boots. Her final season design notably gives her a more formfitting breastplate with a CleavageWindow adding a cape and greaves with leg pieces. She than goes back to wearing her post-time skip armor, but drops the pauldron on her left shoulder leaving her left upper arm bare, and adds back the tassets from her first two armors. The cross emblem on her breastplate likewise shifts from a cross with the Heart Kruez logo to an asymmetrical gold cross centered on the left side of her breastplate over a Fairy Tail guild emblem, to a plain gray cross in her post-timeskip design to ditching it entirely for her fourth design before going back to her third design.

Although the details change her general look remains much the same for her first three armors, a steel gray breastplate with pauldrons, gauntlets, over a blue skirt and boots. Her final season design notably gives her a more formfitting breastplate with a CleavageWindow adding a cape and greaves with leg pieces. She than then goes back to wearing her post-time skip armor, but drops the pauldron on her left shoulder leaving her left upper arm bare, and adds back the tassets from her first two armors.

As of 7 he sports his oddest look yet, wearing a sort-of bio-organic alien armor with octopus tentacles around his head.
