Iris and Clair are annoyed, but Cilan deduces that Clair's Dragonite is female and launches into his film buff explanation, complete with images, of exactly how their initial hatred will vanish when new conflicts test them and love will eventually blossom between the two. The girls don't buy it for a second, and despite the Dragonites getting one more scene later, his prediction doesn't come to pass.
