They also plan to continue into season three.
** The ''{{Series/Firefly}}'' fanfic ''Fanfic/{{Forward}}'' is a continuation of the series set after the end of ''Serenity'', though it is partially alternate universe, in that [[spoiler:all the heroes survived the film's events]].

* Arthur Conan Doyle reluctantly had to continue writing his ''Literature/SherlockHolmes'' stories due to this.
