* ''Manga/DeliciousInDungeon'': Chilchuck Tims is twenty-nine years old but reveals he has three daughters and he had the oldest at 13 years old. Justified as his race, half-foots, [[ProportionalAging age at a faster rate due to their shorter lifespans]], and their considered adults at 14 (so Chilchuk was in late teens when he had his first child. Young, but not that young).

* ''Literature/TheApothecaryDiaries'': The Empress Dowager is not much older than her son (the current Emperor). This is because the previous Emperor was a pedophile who impregnated her when she was ''ten'', then cast her aside once she matured and he lost interest.

* In ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'', because Twilight Sparkle's parents were introduced and designed very early in the series [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness when the show really only had a small handful of "models" for characters]], they use the generic adult female and adult male designs. Now that Twilight's brother Shining Armor has been introduced, who has a more unique design, and Twilight became an alicorn which came with a subtle height boost, their parents actually look ''much younger'' than they do: one unfamiliar with the series would easily assume [[https://trixiebooru.org/images/1554288 the parents were younger siblings, or ''Shining Armor's'' children]]. Other parents were given more unique "older" designs or, in Applejack's case, [[DeceasedParentsAreTheBest only shown in flashback]].

* ''Anime/MamaIsAFourthGrader'' is a weird, but extreme example. In this case, 4th grader Natsumi Mizuki is genuinely raising her own infant daughter, but the daughter has mysteriously time-traveled from 2007 (when Natsuki was 24) to 1992.

In RealLife, a girl can conceive about two weeks before her first menstrual cycle, which commonly occurs (on average) at around 11 or 12 years old these days (although carrying a child to term before physical maturity is risky and has a higher chance of DeathByChildbirth; Henry VII's mother was thirteen when she gave birth to him and couldn't get pregnant again because of the damage to her reproductive organs) and in rare cases this can occur at an even younger age, such as ''five years old''.[[note]]Lina Medina, the notorious example referenced, had a case of extreme precocious puberty i.e. puberty at an absurdly young age, and reportedly had already gotten her period when she was an infant. She is the youngest mother ever in recorded history, though she was too young to remember that the baby was hers, and her parents [[FamilyRelationshipSwitcheroo raised him as her brother]]. While the girl's father swore he had absolutely nothing to do with her impregnation, and the evidence (or rather lack thereof) eventually cleared him of all rape and incest charges, there's still the FridgeHorror question of who the father ''was''. The ''Literature/GuinnessWorldRecords'' dropped the "Youngest Ever Mother" category held by Medina out of exactly these ethical considerations; there was also the fear that somebody somewhere was going to try to '''beat''' this record. ''Website/{{Wikipedia}}'' has a lengthy list of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_youngest_birth_mothers young mothers]], nearly all of which have very heart-breaking backstories.[[/note]]

[[note]] Bruce Willis was 45 when this was filmed, which isn't unreasonably young to be the parent of a 20-year-old. Perhaps we can assume they are trying to flatter him.[[/note]]
