* EvenEvilHasStandards: Subverted. One of the human traffickers objects to the ILoveTheDead necrophilia of his co-worker, but it’s clear that he just finds it gross, not morally objectionable.

Added DiffLines:

* HumanTraffickers: The villains are a group of these. Most of their victims are smuggled in from Eastern Europe to be sold in the UK.

Added DiffLines:

* SnuffFilm: Dr. Thomas Edwards produces snuff films that are suggested to “star” young girls exclusively. He buys Sophia for this purpose before Eloise rescues her and kills him.

Added DiffLines:

* ActionizedSequel: The first book focused on developing Eloise's character as she struggles with her debilitating faith and her need for revenge. Its sequel, however, is less character-driven, focusing more on Eloise shooting her way through a brutal human trafficking organization as she racks up a higher bodycount and gets into more gunfights.

Added DiffLines:

* Fingore: .

->Eloise: "I killed those men to protect you. God is okay with that, so long as that cause is righteous."
->Sophia: "What does this mean?"
->Eloise: "Well, is means that if somebody deserves to die, then it is okay to kill them."
->Sophia: "The men who you killed, they deserved to die?"
->Eloise: "I think so. Don't you?"
->Sophia: "I hope their souls burn in hell."

Shotgun Nun Vol. 2: The Wrath of God is the 2023 sequel to Literature/ShotgunNun. Like the previous novella, it was also written by Harrison Phillips.

It's been multiple years since Sister Eloise eliminated the Wood Street Gang, and she is still wandering the country exterminating any criminals and sinners she comes across. After dispatching a few criminals selling child pornography, Eloise discovers a much more dire threat: a human trafficking ring that has somehow gone unnoticed for many years. As she targets the trafficking ring and starts mowing down everyone associated with it, she comes across a twelve-year-old immigrant named Sophia, whom she develops a bond with. When the leader of the trafficking ring starts hunting them down, Eloise begins training Sophia to defend herself so the two of them can dismantle the operation for good.

!!Shotgun Nun Vol. 2 provides examples of:

* AintTooProudToBeg: begs for Eloise and Sophia to free him when he realizes he's tied to a chair, he's hanging over a quarry, and Sophia is pointing a gun at him. They ignore his pleas and Sophia shoots him to pieces with no hesitation.
* AndTheAdventureContinues: Similar to its predecessor, the book ends with Eloise . And although Eloise , she now has a LittleMissBadass to assist her in the future.
* BigBad: Nathan Robinson, the leader of a human trafficking syndicate. He's the one who's been trafficking people into the country and selling them off to be sex slaves. He also targets Eloise after she kills one of his best clients and steals his "property" (Sophia) from him.
* BlackAndGrayMorality: Unlike the previous book, where most of the characters teetered on different shades of gray, almost all of the villains in this book are vile rapists, child abusers, and/or people involved in a human trafficking operation. Eloise herself slips further into the gray area, as not only does she continue showing no mercy to criminals, but at one point she murders a man who may or may not have been completely innocent and writes off his death by saying he's guilty by association.
* BoomHeadshot: Like the last book, many criminals have their heads obliterated by Eloise's shotgun. Special mention goes to , who is perfectly shot in the head by Sophia while screaming for mercy during the climax.
* CharacterDevelopment: Similar to the fist book, the victim of a traumatic experience evolves into a full-fledged badass who wants to "punish sinners" in the name of God. This time it's Sophia, who goes from being a helpless girl who's the victim of human trafficking to an ActionSurvivor who willingly helps Eloise in her quest to take down Nate's operation and personally and a few other criminals.
* CripplingCastration:
** When Eloise is nearly gang raped by three of Nate's thugs in his club, one of them proceeds to start violating her. He finds out the hard way that Eloise was equipped with an anti-rape device, which quickly mangles his penis.
** During the climax where Eloise is showing Sophia how to shoot a handgun properly, Sophia accidentally shoots in his crotch, destroying his penis and testicles.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Surprisingly. While the first book contains gory deaths and has an explicit scene of Eloise being raped, it never went beyond that. This book starts with Eloise hunting down men who sell child porn, which quickly escalates into her uncovering a human trafficking operation where most of the victims are sold to become sex slaves. This book even contains a brief scene of necrophilia, a scene where Eloise is almost gang raped again, and a scene where a young girl is nearly murdered in a snuff film.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Lawrence is traumatized when he discovers his boyfriend, Peter, was callously murdered by Eloise. He even sobs once he finds his corpse and tells Eloise that he was innocent the whole time.
* ILied: In the beginning, after Eloise kills a few men selling child porn, she swears to God that she'll spare the sole survivor if he tells her about a human trafficking operation. After he spills his guts, Eloise wastes no time blowing his brains out.
--> Nameless Thug: "B...but...you promised! You swore to God!"
--> Eloise: "I lied." (BANG)
* ILoveTheDead: When Eloise comes across the shipping container filled with dead immigrants, two of Nate's guards stay behind to monitor the area. One of them starts having sex with one of the corpses, thoroughly disgusting his adversary.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Similar to the last book, all of Eloise's victims are criminals or people associated with criminals. This is reconstructed at a point, where Lawrence informs Eloise that his boyfriend, Peter, whom Eloise killed without a second thought, was (allegedly) purely innocent and knew nothing about Lawrence's misdeeds. Eloise actually admits that she does not like killing people whose crimes she's not certain of, but justifies her actions by telling Lawrence his boyfriend was evil via association and therefore had to die.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Dr. Edwards is the one who bought Sophia from the auction, thus prompting Eloise to go save her immediately once she found out Edwards was going to use her in a snuff film. Even though Edwards is killed early on with no effort, his death is what triggers Nathan into hunting down Eloise and taking Sophia back from her.
* StarterVillain: The first obstacle in Eloise's way is Dr. Thomas Edwards, a snuff film producer who buys Sophia at Nate's auction. Despite his profession, he has very little screentime and is killed by Eloise before the story is halfway over.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: A total of five immigrants were auctioned off after they were smuggled into the country. Sophia was rescued, but we have no idea what happened to the other four or if they're still alive.
* WouldHurtAChild: All of the antagonists have no problem with kidnapping, torturing, and attempting to kill Sophia, a Serbian twelve-year-old girl who recently was smuggled into the country. Special mention also goes to Dr. Edwards, who has made countless snuff videos where his victims are exclusively children.
