Chrissie is not like your normal child - she lives at the North Pole, and her father is SantaClaus himself. However, there is some trouble afoot - the owner of the Exmas Express has decided to buy Christmas! Soon, the Christmas Spirit has been extinguished as everyone is forced to create poor-quality toys, and it is up to Chrissie to save Christmas for everyone.

----

!!Tropes in this Book:
* AddedAlliterativeAppeal: The poor quality toys which everyone is forced to make include the '''W'''eird '''W'''ally '''W'''armunga the '''W'''arrior, '''P'''rincess '''P'''ee'''P'''ee and '''P'''oo'''P'''oo, and '''D'''oggie '''D'''oo'''D'''oo.
* BadassAdorable: Chrissie may be just an adorable child, but she's the one who manages to do the task of going to everyone's house over Christmas Eve and getting their presents for them when no one else can.
* BadBoss: Ransom's time at the North Pole has him basically force everyone to create low-quality toys - it's when he admits that the goal is to get gifts to only 50% of children across the globe that Chrissie takes it as an excuse to find a way to save Christmas.
* ChristmasElves: They're at the North Pole and get stressed by Ransom's way of running things. The one given the most attention is Oof, who at six feet eleven is pretty tall for an elf.
* ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve: The answer to the question of HowCanSantaDeliverAllThoseToys? The ability to believe in something bigger than you.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Warrie Ransom, the owner of the Exmas Express, buys Christmas from Santa Claus and almost ruins it for everyone, by forcing them to create poor-quality toys.
* FatBastard: The illustrations show Warrie Ransom to be quite the bulky dude. He is also a bad guy who almost ruins Christmas for everyone.
* HeroicBsod: After Christmas is bought out, Santa decides to remain in his bed for most of the time, gradually becoming more like Santa, but not in a way that could be considered healthy. He even reveals that he doesn't believe in Christmas anymore. Thankfully, he manages to regain the spirit by the end, although the added weight that he's put on means that Chrissie is going to have to do his job for him.
* HowCanSantaDeliverAllThoseToys: It's a question that Chrissie asks near the start of the book. As it goes on, however, she finds that the answer is basically the power of [[ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve belief]].
* MeaningfulName: Whilst he only has one line, Rhymer the reindeer does it in the form of a [[RhymesOnADime rhyme]].
* PainfulRhyme: Rhymer's one line is a rhyme that attempts to rhyme "Bizness" with "Who it is" to... mixed results.
-->'''Rhymer''': Must be somebody big in ''Biz-ness''. Let's go see ''Who-it-is-ness''.
* SantaClaus: Well, it is a book about Christmas. That said, the book does provide some additional information on him, including the fact that he has a child and that most of the time, he actually looks like a pretty normal guy - it's only around Christmas that he dons his signature look.
* YouMeanXmas: Ransom tries to invoke this, renaming Christmas to Exmas after he buys it out. Luckily, it's only temporary.
* SavingChristmas: Christmas is placed under threat when a CorruptCorporateExecutive barges in and purchases it, with even Santa losing the Christmas spirit as a result. Luckily, Santa's child manages to save the day in the end.
