It can be thought of as something of a successor to William Luther Pierce’s Literature/TheTurnerDiaries, an earlier and more famous work of white supremacist literature. Like that novel, Northwest Front is meant to promote the author’s white supremacist ideology and to provide a road map for fellow travelers to put their racist beliefs into practice. Specifically, the Northwest Front novels promote the Northwest Territorial Imperative, a white supremacist scheme to build a neo-Nazi white ethnostate in the Pacific Northwest. Covington presents this as a [[PragmaticVillainy more feasible plan]] compared to Pierce’s apocalyptic fantasies of global genocide.
