* CanonDiscontinuity: In the prologue it has Anna waking up after her accident in a way that is very different from when she awakens in Frozen Heart. Though Frozen Heart is itself dubiously canon, the Forest of Shadows version states that Elsa and Anna were already living in separate rooms by the time the accident took place while the canon movie shows that Elsa's belongings were moved to a separate room after the accident.

%%Needs an explanation of the discrepancy. ** In two other books, ''Anna in Charge'' and ''Anna Takes Charge'', Elsa leaves Anna in charge of Arendelle with Anna understanding why.

%%Needs an explanation of the discrepancy. ** In two other books, ''Anna in Charge'' and ''Anna Takes Charge'', Elsa leaves Anna in charge of Arendelle with Anna understanding why.that Elsa trusts her while in FOS she takes Elsa leaving without her as Elsa not wanting her around.
** In a comic from the official Frozen Magazine "Restless Week" it has Elsa having nightmares for a whole week while the conflict of this story is due to Elsa using a trick to suppress her nightmares.
** As stated above, when Anna wakes up after the accident it seems as though Elsa and Anna were already living in separate rooms while in Frozen Heart (which has a different depiction of her waking up all together) and the actual movie shows that Elsa was moved out of Anna's room after her accident.
