Matsuda also implies they've been friends since they were kids-- not that Ryouko remembers this.

Meanwhile, [[BigBad somebody's]] been busy setting the groundwork for a terrible, DeadlyGame they've been plotting. Something strange has happened at Hope's Peak, and a select few students are trying to learn just what's been going on. Ryouko isn't one of them, and she's hardly in any condition to get involved, and yet...

Fortunately, Hope's Peak currently has a SHSL Neurologist, who's studying her anterograde amnesia in hopes of helping her recover. Unfortunately, Yasuke Matsuda is more than a bit of a {{Jerkass}}, constantly insulting and belittling her. Still, Ryouko cares a lot about him, and insists that even if she forgets everything else, she'll always remember him.
