* For a NES title, the ending is surprisingly emotional. Billy rescues Annabelle, and she says her faith in was the only thing thing that kept her from collapsing into despair. Billy says he can't stand the idea of such a thing happening to her again and they passionately kissing. And since the game was a one-shot wonder, Billy got to ENJOY his happy ending with Annabelle. Adding to it, unlike most games at the time, this is done as a cinematic cut scene rather than with cheap in-game sprites, and uses actual dialogue.
