* The kind people that Suzume and Souta Sōta meet during their journey:

** Rumi sees Suzume (and Souta) sitting at a bus stop in the pouring rain and, knowing that the bus won't be there for 6 hours, lets her hitchhike to the city. She does ask Suzume to babysit her twin kids for the day and help in her bar in the evening, but also shows concern when she runs away (to close the next door), lets her stay there for the night, and gives her a hat before she leaves.

* Suzume finally admits out loud that she's fallen for with Souta, when she tells Tamaki before entering the Ever After door that she's "going to see the person I love!"
* Suzume calling back Souta and freeing him from being the keystone. This also replays several moments of their journey from Souta's perspective, heavily implying that he's fallen in love with Suzume in return, and right after he admits that he wants to live a little while longer, she appears before him and takes his hand to pull him back through the metaphorical door in front of him, returning him to his human form.

* Tomoya spends the films hunting down Souta for the money he owes Tomoya. Turns out Tomoya actually owes ''Souta'' money, he was just worried that Souta had vanished off the face off the earth for 3 days while missing an important test but didn't want to admit it.

* Also in the credits, while Souta does [[ButNowIMustGo have to part ways with Suzume for the time being]] to continue his Closer work and go home to Tokyo, he gives her a big hug, thanks her for saving him, and [[ReunionVow promises to come find her and visit her]]. * This whole movie is a tribute to the numerous disasters Japan has endured across the centuries, along with the countless victims impacted by them. Amidst blockbuster movies of superheroes, cheap romantic dramas, or sadistic thrillers, it's a nice change for once.

* The kind people that Suzume and Souta meet during their journey:
** When one of Chika's crates of tangerines spills off her scooter, the two of them use a nearby net to catch all the oranges before they roll down the hill. Chika is such a NiceGirl that, in exchange for this gesture of kindess, she gives Suzume a ride to the abandoned middle school where the next gate is (despite not even knowing why she needs to go there), puts her up for the night in her family's inn, and gives her a new set of clothes.

* The flashback with Suzume's mom making her chair.
* The flashback with Tamaki find a lost Suzume and tearfully promising that she'll be her mother from now on.
* Suzume calling back Souta and freeing him from the keystone.

chair for Suzume's fourth birthday.
* The flashback with Tamaki find a lost Suzume after she left the Ever After and tearfully promising that she'll be her mother from now on.
* In a massive tear jerker, Suzume's and Tamaki's frustrations with each other boil over (also thanks to Sadaijin possessing the latter) and they have a big argument. But soon after, once Tamaki returns to her senses and borrows a bike to get them back to their hometown, they talk it out some more, and while Tamaki admits that she ''has'' had those dark thoughts before in her worst moments, that's not how she feels most of the time, and she truly does love her niece. Suzume makes it clear the feeling is mutual.

* The credits see Suzume introduce Tamaki to the people who helped during her trip. Tamaki and Rumi hit it off, singing karaoke into the night, and Chika's parents are obviously happy to meet her.
