* As a great example of VillainousFriendship, if Greybor is convinced to join the Assassin's Guild, Woljif is turned into a demon and Arueshalae is corrupted, they take joint control of Alushynirra in the epilogue. The ending states that everyone in the city expects them to turn on each other, but their bond is so strong those hopes are soon dashed.

* For a good chunk of the game, Woljif doesn't exactly show himself to be super loyal to the Commander or the crusade. However, if you help him retain his humanity in the face of his grandfather's schemes, he will show that he's come to genuinely care for the Commander, seeing them and the party as his FamilyofChoice and the home he never had.

* Arushalae's efforts to leave her demonic nature behind are seen and felt throughout the story, so when she finally creates a dream of her very own, it's pretty damn beautiful. Her great dream that she's been chasing this whole time? A simple cabin, tea and pastries on the table, and her friends by her side. What's even sweeter is that she dosen't just have her TrueCompanions in her dream. Even the nasty Camellia, and Ramian who she doesn't know very well, are there enjoying life right alongside her.

* All of Ember's loyalty missions are this. She believes that those who cause harm to others are the most miserable creatures in existance, and thus the ones who deserve the most compassion. The overwhelming amount of mercy she shows for the people on the streets of Drezen, misguided crusaders, murderous cultists, even demons, is enough to melt even the coldest hearts.

* An unusual villainous example: The Lilitus Chivarro and Minagho are not just genuinely in love with each other (which is supposed to be impossible for demons), their affection is so strong that when an Azata player tells Chivarro that Minagho is alive but on the run, the mistress of the Abyss' most famous and successful brothel immediately leaves all her power, influence and wealth behind to come to her lover's aid.

--> Woljif: Hey, no, gramps! I've been watchin' the chief for a long time. After all the stuff s/he's done and said, s/he's never once lied to me. Not ever. S/He was on my side when nobody else was. And you? You sat in a medallion and waited for your prophecy to be fulfilled, so you could put me on and wear me around like a little meat vest? Think on it good and hard, grandpa, of the two of you, who do you think I'd trust?

* Seelah initially acts wary of her more... unusual companions, like Ember's belief in absolute redemption for the most wicked being in existence, and Arushalae's very existence. However, if you have them in the same party, it becomes clear that Seelah learns to value her companions dearly. She cheers for Ember's efforts during her final loyalty mission, and when Baphomet mocks Arushalae in his prison, Seelah stands up for her, having come to see her as a true friend.
