*** No, but Ryoma said that at the end of the episode while the Gokai Galleon was departing the Ginga Forest.

* In #40, the ''[[Series/MiraiSentaiTimeranger Timeranger]]'' tribute episode, ends with Gai sending Domon (Time Yellow) a photo the Gokaiger took with a young boy they saved as well as his mother. Domon initially grouses about the Gokaiger not focusing on the task at hand, but trails off when he realizes that [[spoiler:the mother is Honami, the woman he loved and had to leave behind, and that the boy is the son he never knew]]. Cue the waterworks, both from Domon and the audience.

** This is both so awesome and heartwarming that he gets a dream vision and basically major props from [[Series/MiraiSentaiTimeRanger TimeFire]], [[Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger AbareKiller]] and [[Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuRanger DragonRanger]], the three extra rangers who sacrificed themselves to save children!

* A meta example from the Gokaiger/Goseiger movie: the inclusion of [[Series/HimitsuSentaiGoranger Ooiwa]]'s "[[BattleCry Dosukoi!]]", when pretty much everyone else gets TheOtherDarrin treatment.
** To clarify, Ooiwa's actor Baku Hatakeyama unfortunately committed suicide, making him a perfect example of DiedDuringProduction. Although there are reports that Tomokazu Seki actually played Ooiwa, the fact he was one of the few Warriors in ''199 Heroes'' to have a significant line without appearing out of suit either pointed to "Dosukoi!" being a popular line or an affinity for the character. Either way, it was a nice tribute to both Ooiwa and Baku Hatakeyama.

* Meta Example: The returning veterans throughout the show and movies needs another mention as their very presence is a behind-the-scenes example beyond being for nostalgia purposes. As stated on the main page, [[WhatCouldHaveBeen the initial plan was]] that only the associated Sentai that were part of the toyline (''Magiranger'', ''Dekaranger'', ''Gaoranger'', ''Shinkenger'', ''Hurricaneger'', ''Go-onger'', and to smaller extents, ''Zyuranger'', ''Timeranger'', and ''Abaranger'') would be making cameos, and even then, only the Reds. And then the Tohoku quake and tsunami struck. Amidst all the devastation, Teruaki Ogawa ([[Series/NinjaSentaiKakuranger Ninja Red - Sasuke]] and [[Series/SeijuuSentaiGingaman Black Knight Hyuuga]]) setup a Twitter feed that allowed veteran actors from not just ''Super Sentai'' but ''Kamen Rider'', ''Metal Heroes'', and ''Ultraman'', as well (including villains, as this troper clearly remembers a tweet from Mitsu Murata in-character as [[Series/KamenRiderKiva Bishop]]) to send messages of encouragement and hope to all the children and their former, now-grown audience in the face of this crisis. It's through this feed that many Sentai veteran actors learned about ''Gokaiger'' and its anniversary cameo gimmick and wanted to be involved, particularly in the then-in-production ''Film/GokaigerGoseigerSuperSentai199HeroGreatBattle''. If the veterans who appeared in the movie as projections after the recovery of the Keys seemed tacked on, it's because they really were not originally part of the production, but were added in midway to help give hope to a struggling nation, and the same applies with all the veterans who appeared in the show after the movie's screening. This influx of former Sentai actors joining the production includes even retired actors like Kazuki Maehara ([[Series/SeijuuSentaiGingaman Ginga Red - Ryouma]]). Even better, they were woven in in a way that helped facilitate the story and CharacterDevelopment. In a way, this even makes the [[FridgeBrilliance Zangyack Empire a metaphor for the tsunami]]. All of this is what makes the very production of ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'' an Awesome and Heartwarming example of an anniversary, and allowed it to be true to its message of heroism in the face of a seemingly terrifying adversity.
