* If you threaten to go find Daniel and [[JackBauerInterrogationTechnique shake information out of him]] in front of Joshua Graham, he'll casually explain, [[TranquilFury without a change in tone]], how this is a bad idea, because Daniel [[BadassPreacher is quite capable of defending himself]] and because Joshua Graham [[ImpliedDeathThreat will find you and you will not leave the valley]]. But he caps it off by telling you that [[BeingEvilSucks waging war against good people is bad for the soul]] and how this is the most important thing he said. Even when you act like a total {{Jerkass}} and threaten to harm his friend, Joshua Graham still tries to get you to be a better person and warn you how evil actions can lead to your own suffering in return.

** Case in point, near the end of his narrative, he sees two dozen children or teens (the ancestors of the Sorrows) entering into Zion, and hears them talking about how they fled "The School" and "[[TheDreaded The Principal]]". He immediately vows to protect those children he doesn't know.
-->'''Randall Clark's diary:''' "[[PapaWolf Principal better not show up or I'll blow his goddamn head off]]. I can still shoot straight."

* After doing a makeshift detox cure for a mechanic (who will then work to maintain the Freeside water pump), a chemist (who will then make medicine for the Followers of the Apocalypse), outing a scam posing as an elite bodyguard, ease off the tensions between the Kings and the NCR... The Followers offer you a dose of medicine per day, the King guarding the pump allows you to drink from it as much as you like, and every day, a random King will give you a gift (a few caps, some food...). You're likely armed with an awesome suppressed sniper rifle, clad in an advanced stealth suit, packing enough food and water to last for twi weeks, medicine for a rainy day, and enough ammo to depopulate a town. You probably don't need any of these items, but it's nice to see someone acknowledge and reward your good deeds.

Added moments for Julie Farkas

Added DiffLines:

* Julie Farkas, leader of the Followers of the Apocalypse, one of the nicest factions in the game, is herself quite kind, with her quests being about helping folks:
** The quest, "High Times" is this, as it deals Julie Farkas having you find two people that were once brilliant in their trades: Bill Ronte, a Machinist/Plumber, and Jacob Hoff, a Chemist who (ironically) made detox chems. Both have been strung out into addiction by an asshole of a chem dealer. However, one method you can use is a Speech check of 50, to convince them that, there ARE indeed folks that can help them recover and sober up. This quest is especially touching to anyone who has themselves or a loved one suffer or even recover from addiction, and have gotten back on their feet. Even better, [[HesBack their recovery]] means free water for you, and one free aid item a day.

* There is a chance that, after Joshua moves to the Sorrows camp, you can find both him and Daniel sitting next to the campfire reading the bible. It sweet to see that, for all their differences, they still find common ground in their belief in the Lord.

No meta moment, see this query.

** On a more Meta, borderline-{{Fanon}} note, you can always tell any number of your companions to go to the Lucky 38 instead of their original places once you've unlocked it by entering the Strip. While this mechanic was simply added for convenience's sake (i.e., not having to travel from one half of the Mojave to another to re-recruit a companion for the umpteenth time), the fact that all of the companions willingly stay under one roof has led most New Vegas fanfic writers to paint them as a RagtagBunchOfMisfits who become FireForgedFriends over the story. The fact that there aren't any in-game interactions between the companions on account of "only one companion can accompany the Courier at a time rule", and yet so many people portray them as traveling together or fighting side-by-side, is pretty indicative of how all of these companions have forged a mutual soft spot in the Fallout fandom's heart.

* Through a certain conversation path, you can get [[JerkAss God]] to admit that he really does genuinely cares about [[PsychopathicManChild Dog's]] own welfare. Considering [[ControlFreak who]] this is coming from, it's pretty touching.

Update to some of the entries

** Even Rex gets a break after two centuries. Because of the Courier, Rex now has a mate, puppies, a slowly-rebuilding K9-Cyberdog force, and a master he might not outlive for a change.

** Even Rex finally gets a break after break. After two centuries. Because centuries of living, from his days as a police dog to a Legion hound to the loyal pet of the Courier, King, because of the Courier activating Roxie during their time in Big MT, she'll find Rex now has even if he's dead (for which she drags his body ''from the Mojave all the way to the Big MT'' to be repaired) and together with her, he'll gain a mate, mate and a litter of puppies, a slowly-rebuilding K9-Cyberdog force, force made of "Boston Terrifiers", and most of all, thanks to the Courier's own cybernetic augmentation, a master he might not outlive for a change.

Tastes Like Diabetes is no longer a trope. Moving examples to other tropes when applicable.

* ED-E's good ending where he joins the Courier after playing Lonesome Road. ED-E chooses to stay with the Courier because s/he's the closest thing to a father he has left, what with being aware Whitley might be dead due to disobeying Colonel Autumn's order to kill and scrap ED-E and his brothers, or [[Videogame/Fallout3 you killed him]]. [[TastesLikeDiabetes You gave a little orphan robot a home!]] DAAW!
