* After a hard fought semi-final battle by both Goku and Vegeta, with both left bloody and with most of their bones probably broken, Goku emerges victorious. Not only is everyone from their universe satisfied and thrilled, with Goku's family happily cheering for him while Trunks applauds and Bra comments it was still close, their fight also inspired many of the other participants as well. Also, a Namekian heals both Goku and Vegeta afterwards, and Goku offers his hand to Vegeta. Vegeta takes it with a smile, both rivals satisfied.

* In Chapter 90, Bra's reasons for [[spoiler: forfeiting her match with Gast. She explains that she is weak against magic. And if she beat Gast, she would then have to fight XII. Whom she's not even sure she could beat in a straight fight. While she knows that Gast would honor her request to use a wish to help the people of Universe 19, XII would likely not do the same]]. Bra's decision even moves Phipsil, who thanks her for putting her pride aside for the sake of her world. This also prompts Pan to at least reconsider, for a second, that Bra has evolved because of the whole Majin Rebellion incident, and was maybe really not truly herself when DrunkOnTheDarkSide because of Babidi.

* In Chapter 90, Bra reasons for [[spoiler: forfeiting her match with Gast. She explains that she is weak against magic. And if she beat Gast, she would then have to fight XII. ** Page 1055: Vegeta nailing in how far he has come, finally calling Son Goku by his name, after utterly thrashing U13!Kakarot !

* Universe 4; in spite of his nonchalantly slaughtering anyone who asks a wish that he doesn't deem worthy of granting, Zen Buu still shows a fair bit of compassion that his canon counterpart never would have. Up to and including [[spoiler: sparing Videl and simply sending her back to Earth in spite of his annoyance at her constantly demanding he bring back everyone he absorbed on Earth (which would obviously cost him his Godlike powers), giving Hirudegarn a MercyKill upon noticing that his own existence causes him suffering, and reviving Tapion's brother without even a second thought when asked.]]
** In the novelization, its shown that Buu still regards Satan as his closest friend, a sentiment which the World Champ shares. When Buu returns after exploring the cosmos for a little while to visit Satan, the man is overjoyed that the one true friend he ever had had returned to see him. In fact, he is literally brought to tears by the fact and even goes so far as to embrace Buu. Taken aback, the Djinn asks why Satan is glad to see him, having expected the man to be utterly terrified of him. In response, Satan states that he had always known that Buu had changed for the better and was still his friend. Needless to say, Buu was deeply touched.

* Universe 4; in spite of his nonchalantly slaughtering anyone who asks a wish that he doesn't deem worthy of granting, Zen Buu still shows a fair bit of compassion that his canon counterpart never would have. * The Universe 9's brief recap of the events of the beginning of ''Dragon Ball'' without Goku has Grandpa Gohan accompanying Bulma in her trip to gather the Dragon Balls. On his way, he's shown reuniting with his old friends Roshi and the Ox King.

* A subtle one, but after Vegetto's creation in Universe 16, Trunks [[http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en/page-763.html tells Vegetto that]] [[YoureNotMyFather he isn't his father]] [[http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en/page-763.html right to his face]]. By the time of the tournament, [[http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en/page-794.html he seems to have changed his mind]].

* Universe 16: All the trouble everyone has gone through to save Vegetto and allow him to not starve to death.

* Universe 9 Yamcha forfeiting against universe 14 Android 18 to convince her of his good intentions, since he realized that she and her brother actually need help to repair themselves or soon they'll start to break down. He seems to think he can get them to HeelFaceTurn as weel.

* Universe 13: Despite them being vile mass murderers, the relationship between Raditz and Kakarot is rather shockingly sweet when you see their backstory special, in which Raditz acts a lot like a BigBrotherMentor, and how Kakarot nearly sacrificed himself to protect Raditz. Even when bargaining with the Old Kai to get a power-up that will allow him to kill Vegeta and Nappa, Raditz outright refuses to kill his brother.

** [[spoiler:Of course, she ruins the moment when she casually accepts a handicap when facing Cold to have a more interesting fight.]]

* Inevitable when [[http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en/page-958.html the wish to revive all those who had been killed in the tournament is used]], since that means U16 Pan is reunited with her family.

* Universe 9 Yamecha forfeiting against universe 14 Android 18 to convince her of his good intentions, since he realized that she and her brother actually need help to repair themselves or soon they'll start to break down. He seems to think he can get them to HeelFaceTurn as weel.

* When the U19 fighters reveal their motives for fighting in the tournament (restore their planet after its carbonite infection and prevent it from destroying the universe), Goku and the remaining U16 and U18 fighters unconditionally promise to fulfil their wish if either of their competitors were to win. As much of a bitch Bra can be, she doesn't even hesitate to tell Eleim she'll do it, and she's openly ''determined'' to do it.

* Inevitable when [[http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en/page-958.html the wish to revive all those who had been killed in the tournament is used]], since that means U16 Pan is reunited with her family.

** Vegeta got another (smaller) one two pages earlier. After knocking out U12 Trunks, instead of acting like a douche and insulting his son for losing (as he probably would have at any point other than the end of canon), he catches Trunks as he falls unconscious and carries him back over to the U12 area. He even gives his son a very brief compliment. Doesn't sound like much, but for Vegeta, that's ''huge''.

* Chapter 26, page 579. Vegeta, disgusted after Pan considers dropping out of the tournament, scolds her and reminds her that she is descended from Goku and Gohan (And insulting Goten, Trunks and Bra for not being true fighters). Pan agrees, and Vegeta encourages her to utterly massacre U13 Kakarot.
