** Also worth noting is that normally, when Jane lets someone hug her, she usually breaks it off roughly, shrugging or shoving them away. This time, however, when the hug breaks, she slides her hands down Dorothy's arms and grips her hands.

* Jane ''finally'' gets a last conversation with Niles, in which she confesses that her powers aren't working anymore and she doesn't know how to fix it. Niles talks her through the problem and helps her realize what she needs to understand in order to restore the Underground: that all of the personalities remember the rape and abuse that Kay suffered and that it's a part of all of them. As Jane finally accepts this, the Underground is destroyed, but it's replaced with something new - the Kaleidoscope, in which all of the alters work together to guide Kay through life instead of just protecting her from it.

* The Dead Boy Detectives show how close they are with Crystal sarcastically saying how good they were at their jobs because they've been doing it for thirty years.
--> '''Charles:''' More like forty-years.
** Crystal also genuinely loves her two ghost friends, since they saved her from David. When they help Larry go to retrieve the Doom Patrol, she admits to Dorothy that although she knows the boys can handle themselves, she's still worried for their safety.

Added DiffLines:

* Larry and Edwin have a one on one conversation with each other. Larry then tries to gently ask Edwin if he "likes" Charles in that way since the two of them seemed really close and obviously care for one another. Edwin hesitates as he says that Charles is his "[[PlatonicLifePartners mate]]" and he doesn't want to ruin their long friendship with his own feelings. Larry then says it's not 1916 anymore, and nowadays, loving someone of the same sex is becoming more normal. Larry then adds that he once thought the same way as Edwin, but became happier accepting himself. While he doesn't force anything on Edwin, Larry still suggests Edwin at least try to be more true to his feelings. Edwin seems grateful for Larry's words, with Charles noting that the two seemed to have gotten close at the end of the episode.
* Charles stepping in front of Edwin as Madame Rogue appears, clearly shielding him from her.

* In "Possibilities Patrol", Larry talked Dorothy through letting go of her father. In this episode, Dorothy tries to repay the favor, pointing out to Larry that his plan of wrapping his friends in bandages and leaving them seated around the dining room table for the winter is ''not'' a healthy coping strategy. When it turns out that there's still a chance to save them, she calls in a favor from Danny and recruits the Dead Boy Detectives for help.
