* In "The Divorce", Larry is visited by a girl scout who happens to be the daughter of one of his friends, and she unexpectedly has her first period inside Larry's house. Instead of panicking or being apathetic, Larry actually goes to find his ex-wife's tampons, and gives her time in his bathroom for privacy. When she reveals that she has no idea how to use a tampon, Larry (from the other side of the door) reads the instructions to her and doesn't get frustrated when she takes a while to understand. Uncomfortable, yes. Inappropriate, probably. But overall, it's a rare act of pure empathy on Larry's part, who instantly realises the girl is in shock when her period starts, and actually takes a parental role.

* In a [[https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2017/sep/29/larry-david-long-shot-how-curb-your-enthusiasm-saved-a-man-from-death-row real world example]], "The Car Pool Lane" was shot in Dodger Stadium during a game, where Larry brushes against a seemingly random Dodgers fan. Unknowing to him, the said fan, Juan Catalan, was later arrested and charged with murdering a police informant, which if convicted, could land him on death row. Catalan maintained his innocence and stated that he was at the Dodgers' game that day, but his alibi could not be initially verified. His lawyer eventually managed to find an alibi for his client using the episode's footage, and Catalan was found not guilty.

* In "Larry vs Creator/MichaelJFox", Larry befriends a [[AmbiguouslyGay "flamboyant"]] six-year old, Greg, and gives him a sewing machine for his birthday, much to his absolute delight. Despite being a sardonic, short-tempered JerkWithAHeartOfGold, Larry [[FriendToAllChildren genuinely gets along with children most of the time]] when compared to adults.
* "Lewis Needs A Kidney" has Larry getting locked out of his car and looking for some dinner which leads him to a Advertising/JackInTheBox. Not being able to order in the drive-thru without a car, he proceeds to ask the line of cars behind him to lend a helping hand which leads to various rejections. However, he stops by the final car where the driver, Pete, happily allows him to get in and the duo enjoy a meal together before help arrives. [[spoiler: It's later revealed though that Pete's actually a ''convicted felon'' and that one of the few times Larry had decent interaction with someone ultimately [[ButtMonkey goes up in flames.]]]]
