* Despite Razoul's smug remark that the sultan would not let Aladdin marry Jasmine after releasing his father from prison and later attempting to pressure the Sultan to have Aladdin convicted, the Sultan recognizes Aladdin did so out of love, willingly lets the matter go and still wants to go ahead with the wedding, still perfectly willing to let Aladdin into his family.

* Even ''Iago'' deserves a happy ending as by the ending the film, he leaves with Cassim, having finally found the right companion. Iago teamed up and stayed with Jafar purely out of fear for his life and feeling he had no other choice since he had taken him in as his minion, while being with Aladdin's group frustrated him because they were too good-hearted and too generous with their wealth for his liking. Cassim is not evil at all, yet still just as greedy and gold-hungry as him, and he does the one thing none of Iago's previous companions did: He treats him like a ''friend.''

* For those who watched the animated series, many of the characters from the show appear as wedding guests, like Prince Uncouthma and others who had befriended the group along their adventures.

* When the rest of the Aladdin gang meets Cassim, they all take to him very quickly. Jasmine and the Sultan are very willing to accept him into the family as Aladdin's father. Jasmine remarks on Cassim's natural charm as matching with Aladdin's. Though it doesn't last, it was still nice how they were willing to probably let him live with them in the palace and be part of the family they would have together.

* Aladdin is informed of what "The Challenge" is.

** In the "Father and son" montage, when Genie suggests grandchildren, Cassim smiles at the idea of being a grandpa.
