** She makes a reference to Franco Morino's mind control activities, so it seems that part of the origin still occurred with or without the player character's involvement.

* How did Vicky become void-touched? She doesn't seem to have encountered any supernatural things prior to the General-linked murders. She was shot in the shoulder, so she might have had a near-death experience if the injury was bad enough, but it goes unexplained if that was the case.

** The games mostly take place in present day, giving the games a gap of about 4 years. Lack of hard evidence as to what caused it most likely ended the Unavowed's investigation and caused society to later return to status quo.

*** Actually, it's not that complicated. It's not meant to be literal; the activity is noted by how notable it is, not by merely being around. The situation prior to the game has always been low, so they have to reason to research every obscure figure as if they have an AI for it.

*** The point was that there were two "recently active" Bestowers in New York, Michael Cooper and Rosangela Blackwell. Both their careers ended with them dying in Epiphany. Yet the Unavowed only knew about one - why not both?

** He himself mentions that he didn't want any poor individual getting dragged into the mess, hence why he didn't attempt to call for help. That's the reason of why he probably locked it from the inside. As for how he got inside, it's safe to assume that the door was unlocked from the beginning, or the window at the back was opened,(and he could've purposely locked them both for the reason previously mentioned).

* Why did the event at the end of Epiphany (everybody in New York falling unconscious at once) leave no noticeable impact on society? You'd think they'd put up memorials to those who died, and the Unavowed would certainly want to find out exactly what happened.

* How did Logan get into the Eddings house without either unlocking the door or breaking in? He didn't mention having a key, and wouldn't have a compelling reason to lock the front door from the inside.
* The Unavowed claim to have known about a Bestower that was recently active in New York. Why only one? Aside from Rosa, Michael Cooper was also an active Bestower for a while.
