Instead he uses more general terms about his world and himself not being real, his purpose being to be an obstacle to Pomni's group, etc.

* Does the Amazing Digital Circus actually operate using a real-time 24-hour schedule with Caine setting aside a designated time for adventures each day, or does Caine just start a new day every time the crew begins a new adventure? It's been established that the players don't have to sleep, even though they can and do. That being said, there's really no way to account for how long they sleep. The sun and moon are always constantly visible in the sky, and never seem to move from their positions. Does time even pass at all in the Digital Circus?

That's to assume Caine would even allow them to do so, as, despite his mostly hands-off approach to running things, he doesn't seem like the type to just sit back and let the human characters beat the crap out of someone (so long as it's not part of an adventure).
