The adventurers' guild wasn't closed until the latter event, so any adventurers who came to Mordavia would be able to read about Piotyr's plan to find and destroy the Rituals of the Dark One. (Though the fact that there hadn't been any other entries into the logbook between Piotyr's and the Hero's also raises some interesting questions...) Why would Piotyr's name still be mud two generations later?
