* The Prince and Elika go all over the place with the Power Plates, including through ruins of places where the plates were placed. So what determines where the plates take our heroes? It seems unlikely that Elika decides where they because the plates will frequently take the most direct path to the Fertile Ground...and immediately turn around and make you take the long way. If the paths were predetermined, it might not be much use to the Prince and Elika because they would have been made to navigate a place that was, you know, intact. Unless the Ahura or Ormazd or whoever made them could see the exact location where the heroes would land centuries before the events of the story. So what makes the paths you take during the game so erratic?
