* So as everyone knows, Enoch's defeat is the point where The Batter's actions are put in a different light if you didn't revisit a zone after purifying it yet, and I know gameplay-wise we are restricted to continue helping The Batter to advance the story, but narrative-wise, why wouldn't the player (as in the entity we represent) think to stop the Batter at this point? They control his every action and could've easily put an end to his genocidal crusade.
