* Easily explained. Despite being released later, the Spider-Man story takes place before the Uncanny Avengers one. Once he gets that money, he'll gazump the person who was trying to buy the building. Previews for ''ComicBook/MarvelTwoInOne'' already show that Peter will hand the keys to Ben Grimm.

However, over in ''Uncanny Avengers'', it turns out that Johnny has possession of Reed Richards' patents and settlements, totaling well over ''five billion dollars''. Even with taxes, Johnny should have had more than enough money to buy back the Baxter Building; instead, it comes off as another reason to dump on everybody.
