** While it was outside forces, sabotage implies it was deliberate, which it wasn't. It was an unfortunate accident, albeit a very major and unusual one. It wasn't a foul, so everyone is right that Hufflepuff's victory was won fair and square. It would be no different if Harry was struck by lightning and fell to the ground - outside forces no one could have predicted, in plain view of the entire school, which cost Gryffindor the match. Yes, Cedric's request for a rematch is reasonable, but no one sees Harry's accident as something purposefully caused, so they deny it.

[[folder: Hufflepuff won fair and square... Um... What?]]
* What is with everyone brushing off Cedric Diggory's request for a rematch? Oliver Wood even apparently says that Hufflepuff won the Quidditch match fair and square... Except, no, they didn't. Gryffindor's Seeker was very blatantly sabotaged by outside forces that nobody could have predicted, in plain view of the entire school and staff. I'd say his request for a rematch was pretty valid and reasonable.
