** Because 7th is still one diary user, even though they're two people. And despite all of Deus' flaws, he's still a big stickler for the rules. Yuki and Yuno are different diary users, combining them would be a violation of the rules. Which means that yeah, 7th kind of hit the jackpot with their diary.

*[[spoiler: Why did Yuno not die when one of her phones was destroyed? I don't care if she had two of them, they were both hers, and were both bound to the game, so she should die no matter which phone is destroyed.]]

* In the end of the first episode we see [[spoiler: First world Murmur]] giving [[spoiler:Third]] his diary, which he destroy and dies. She then reverse time to bring him back. Why can't Deus or the winner of the game do this to revive all the people they killed?

* So, [[spoiler: if the first world's Yuno travelled back in time after she won the game and killed herself]], shouldn't she die/being removed/deleted/annihilated from [[spoiler: the second world]], too? [[spoiler: It may be another world]], but it's still based on the same past, after all! Maybe you get a workaround by claiming she entered another universe, but otherwise you'd simply end up with a [[GrandfatherParadox grandfather paradox]], which would've [[spoiler: destroyed the world anyway]].

* Let's talk about 7th [[spoiler: they are two people, Deus allowed this (it may not have been his idea but he didn’t stop it)]] so why don't Yuki and Yuno ask to be treated as one contestant? Or give Yuno some minor position in Yuki's domain like Mur Mur? Question

** Answer is the because 1) Even if she could bring Yuki back to the 1st World with him, there would be nothing left for them. From what people don't realize is that Yuki and Yuno both need to people to interact together with. Yuno has no problem with Yuki being with certain people as long as they're aware that Yuki loves only her. Even if she could use her powers to rebuild the universe, they still cannot bring back their loved ones, which means that Yuki can't get his friends and parents back. And 2) Yuno wants to die. Even though she's been insane throughout the whole story, she's still torn up with guilt over having 1st-World Yuki die and not being able to save him, as well as feeling guilty over deceiving 2nd-World Yuki and making him betray his friends. She simply wants to die, and in her warped mind, she only wants Yuki to do it.

** Poor writing, and a bad case of [[ShowDontTell telling, not showing]]. However, she is seen being complimented by boys but [[LaughingMad she laughs it off]] because Yuki is the only man she strives for.
** Also, she's only seen with Yuki because she doesn't give a damn about anyone else. The third world shows her with a group of friends, yes, but even then she doesn't seem to be too concerned with them.

** A small part of the reason Deus is hosting this game is [[ForTheEvulz for entertainment]]. It's not far fetched to believe he could easily pick a god based on the most sanctimonious human on the planet; he just wants to play a fun game. Also, the post-credits scenes at the end of every episode shows that ''[[TheGadfly Mur Mur]]'' is the one recruiting the players, and her [[ItAmusedMe desire for excitement]] is stronger than Deus'. Now, whether they were chosen by Deus after all is unknown, but still.

* Why is almost everyone making a huge deal out of the recent sex scene? First of all, what makes it any different from a sex scene between the hero and the "love interest" (note the quotation marks, I use this term VERY loosely)? Second--in regards to complaints that Yuno isn't "pure" anymore -Yuno ''is a friggin' psychopath'', so she wasn't exactly "pure" to begin with (sexually, yes; in every other way, ''no''). And third...in this series, schools have been blown up, people have had their heads chopped off, a small child has tried to kill the two heroes with poison gas...and they freak out ''over a sex scene?''
** . . . who are we talking about now?
** Yuki and Yuno. Despite Yuno's diary entry for July 28 being phrased as "Yuki and Yuno Become Bound Together", which can ALSO be read as "Yuki and Yuno Have Sex" (ie, something that most, if not all, fans should have seen coming at one point or another), the amount of rage over it is absurd. It's one thing to merely dislike the scene itself; it's another to rage about how Yuno is no longer "pure", and Yuki is taking a lot of hate for it (apparently, it's a case of DieForOurShip with Yuki dying for the ship of "Yuno/Me"). And it's also pretty funny that people freak out over '''one''' sex scene after '''several''' violent scenes precede it.
*** That's what I meant. Who are these idiots?
**** I'm sorry, let me get this straight. People called Yuno ''pure''? Have they been reading the same manga I have?! Apart from the mass killing she partakes in, she's snuck into his bed, had him grope her, forced kisses on him, and occasionally goes around PantsFree. At one point, she even asked him outright if he was going to do anything to her, utterly hopefully he was. This scene has been a long time in coming, so I can't see how they can rage about it. I for one liked the scene, though I was slightly shocked it was so explicit. It was just enough WAFF mixed with a hint of ManipulativeBastard to be perfect. Plus it was plot important.
***** I think people called her pure because of this quote, and her blushing too. To be honest, if this was anyone other than Yuno, then I'd baww.

* The ending! It was abrupt and I don't understand why Yuno who did all those horrible things had a happy ending. KarmaHoudini much? It didn't give any resolution to the other diary holders and Yuki's friends. YMMV but I didn't like it.
** About the other diary holders... It was shown pretty clearly that they had their own happy endings. For example, the 7th were expecting a kid and most likely married, the 6th's parents were saved and she didn't become a sex slave to an evil cult, the 10th and his daughter Hinata seem to have reconciled. So yeah, they each got a little happiness.
** From about Chapter 55 on, they make it clear that Yuno ''not'' having a happy ending would be counter to Yukiteru's entire character development. You're not supposed to sympathize with Yuno or like her for what she did, but the manga pretty much tells you, in no ambiguous terms, that Yukiteru sees her as a WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds and wants to save her. And technically, the ending isn't even happy. It's [[BittersweetEnding Bittersweet]]. The Yuno we all knew died--the one we see at the end is only a copy.
** Going along with this, the only thing the copy has that's related to the original Yuno are the memories thanks to Mura Mura. Combined with the new world's memories and a good amount of time to reflect upon the actions of the original Yuno, the new one is clearly not the same psychotic Yuno as before; KarmaHoudini doesn't apply since the Yuno that you claim to have escaped the wrath of karma was indeed punished by death, and the new Yuno is technically a different individual.
*** I would have to disagree there. In chapter 48 Deus mentions that the only way to SAVE a soul is to circumvent the situation where it died. That seemed to imply to me that the people in the new timeline have the same souls as the one in the old timeline. It gets a bit messy when two people exist in the same timeline (like the two Minenes), but to me it seems like the same person at different points in time. Since the timeline changed, their plane of time will never meet so they will always be the same person at a different point in time. So to me, Yuno is still Yuno.
** I still think there was something wrong with the ending though. From the final picture with everybody in it, while you can infer that some good things happened, what about everyone else? What about Akise? If he's an [[spoiler: {{Artificial Human}} wouldn't he have the memories of his previous life? That's what confuses me.]]
*** This troper assumed [[spoiler: Yukki recreated him (as the third Deus had no reason to create him in the first place), probably because he was the closest thing to a best friend (that wasn't Yuno) the poor boy had. However, Yuno probably forced him to make Akise not interact with them at all, or at least not with the second Yukki, only the third.]] It did bother me, though.
*** But even Deus [[spoiler: cannot create entire beings from scratch]], he has to have a starting point. My guess is that Akise is a regular person with a life and memory of his own, Deus just bent his goals to fit his own. In fact, in Paradox you can even see his parents.

* Am I the only one who noticed that Deus watches Yukiteru cry while he poops? WHAT THE FUCK, DEUS?

* Okay, I'm fully aware that a lot of people will disagree with me, but personally, I think Yukiteru went through two episodes of {{flanderization}} between 15 and 16. Sure, [[NonActionGuy he preferred not to fight the whole time]], and made no secret about it, but up till that point he'd been an ActionSurvivor CowardlyLion who could at least hold his own ''somewhat'' if he had to. He'd even [[spoiler: saved ''Yuno'' a couple of times, and damned if those weren't [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome spectacular]]]]. He goes from "[[CowardlyLion doesn't want to fight]] [[ActionSurvivor but can do some if he absolutely has to]]" to full-on "incapable of anything".

* Here's something that bugs me regarding the hatred towards Yukiteru; at first, he was hated because he wasn't [[AxCrazy gleefully mowing down bodies like Yuno]] and wasn't in love with her, but only using her because she would protect him. ''Then'' he TookALevelInBadass, but he's still hated because he ''is'' killing people wantonly (under the excuse that once he becomes God, he bring everyone back to life). Sure, it's not exactly admirable I'll admit, but then again, Yuno ''did the exact same thing!'' Plus it's outright stated that she'd go through the whole process ''again'', possibly forever, just so she can relive the whole game with Yuki. She's [[BaseBreaker divisive]], but generally much more well-received by fans than Yukiteru, who's hated because he's ''not'' like Yuno, and then hated because he ''is'' like Yuno. DoubleStandard much?
** Not at all. I can't speak for everyone, but Yuno is entertaining and likable despite her [[MoralEventHorizon actions]] because [[AxCrazy she's supposed to]] be [[VillainProtagonist evil]] while Yukiteru is supposed to be a straight up everyman. The audience is supposed to relate to and sympathize with him. Even as an anti-hero it doesn't work because he kills innocent people who are just working with 11th and 8th (who herself is an innocent). Simply put, we expect this sort of thing out of Yuno, but when our hero is slaughtering an orphanage to suit his own needs, it's hard to support him. It's also because of the attitude. Lets compare this to [[MagnificentBastard Lelouch]] from CodeGeass for a moment. Many believe he passed the MoralEventHorizon when he slaughtered a bunch of Tykebombs who had geass. Despite the fact that he's killing children, we still root for him because he does it with such a charismatic personality and sympathetic motives, while still being AntiHero enough not to kill an undeniably innocent person. Yukiteru on the other hand kills anyone in his way (and a few people who just wanted their orphan mother to survive) with the self-righteous attitude of a Jerkass teenager, then kills his friends for supposedly betraying him. On the other hand, Lelouch's MoralityPet is his younger sister, as well as his friends at the student council. The thing that always kept me from thinking of Lelouch as a villain was the fact that he'd never hurt an innocent bystander or classmate if he could avoid it. Hell, when Shirley did try to shoot him, he wanted to talk her out of it and settle things peacefully, nearly getting shot as a result. Yukiteru on the other hand shot all of his friends due to a VillainousBSOD when he THOUGHT they were betraying him. It didn't help that before hand, Lelouch was a MagnificentBastard with the goal to make his sister happy while Yukiteru was TheScrappy and a useless, whiny kid who made [[NeonGenesisEvangelion Shinji Ikari]] look tough. In short, the reason that Yuno isn't getting any heat is because they don't try to pull her off as a TragicVillain or a sympathetic AntiHero while Yukiteru is pulled off as an AntiHero or a WellIntentionedExtremist when he's really just fighting for himself. Sure, he was [[WhatTheHellHero called out on his behavior by his friends]] but even then he [[IgnoredEpiphany didn't listen until it was too late.]] He was never specifically portrayed as evil this entire time and every time he's called out, he ignores it as though we, as the audience, should just brush it aside too. If he was portrayed as a villain in the way Light Yagami was, we could probably overlook his evil deeds or even praise him as a great TragicVillain.

Sure, he was [[WhatTheHellHero called out on his behavior by his friends]] but even then he [[IgnoreEpiphany [[IgnoredEpiphany didn't listen until it was too late.]] He was never specifically portrayed as evil this entire time and every time he's called out, he ignores it as though we, as the audience, should just brush it aside too. If he was portrayed as a villain in the way Light Yagami was, we could probably overlook his evil deeds or even praise him as a great TragicVillain.

** Well, now that you mention it, why the ''hell'' didn't she think of that? But then, Yuno's not exactly in her right mind anyway. But on the other hand, who knows; maybe to her, it wouldn't be the same if he never got any of the memories she had with Yuki from the First World. The reason Thrid-World-Yuno gets First-World-Yuno's memories is because the latter already became a god, though it's possible she could have taken to a bit of memory-tampering with 2nd-world-Yuki. Still though, you've got a really good point.

* Why didn't Yuno just take Yuki to the First World after the two of them were the only ones remaining in the Survival Game? She had every reason to do that instead of repeat the Survival Game in other worlds. Think about it. Why would she rather kill him and go back to start it over than take him to an already destroyed universe where they could be alone together for eternity. Makes no sense to me.

I'd throw in his [[spoiler: missing Ai's cellphone with a dart]], but then, everyone has their off days.

* If Yuki paid close enough attention to events around him that he could keep an accurate detailed diary of what he sees, how did he not notice that Yuuno was stalking him closely enough to keep a diary down to every tenth minute interval?

** She probably made it a point to not be too obvious about it, since that kind of defeats the purpose of stalking (I think). She'd know the route to his house, and the short-cuts, and anything to hide behind should he turn her way. At best, he could've just wound up occasionally writing down, "Ran into Gasai Yuno today. How unusual," in his diary.

*** The reason Yuno wanted Yuki to kill her was because she killed ''him'' in the first world, and felt she deserved a KarmicDeath [[PleaseKillMe at his hands]]. If you're willing to go with the idea that she's played the Survival Game ''multiple'' times (considering she seems to have a premonition of the other owners' death traps that would've required, say, DeliberatelyTriggeringTheTrap to know), then that means she's killed Yuki ''several'' times over in different worlds.
