*** Izual is no longer an Angel. He willingly pledged himself to Diablo to save his own skin. He was transformed into a full demon for telling the Prime Evils all they needed to corrupt the Soulstones. When he dies, he admits to all of this in a mocking tone, indicating that he no longer regrets any of it and has embraced his new demonic nature. Given what we know of demons, he will always be revived as long as his master Diablo has need of him.
