** It's possible that Jessie showed no outward signs of infection, like a bite, zombies infect by transferring larvae in the saliva it's possible that instead of being bitten some of Barnaby's salivia dripped into her mouth when he was attacking her.

*** It's not about being smarmy or saving time, it's about game design itself. Staggering when you get hit is fine, annoying but fine, so long as you can't get hurt while caught in an animation like that. Getting hit, staggering, then getting shot again while staggered is a hot button for many gamers. Not having control of your character when you need to move carefully and rapidly is a huge issue in a game like this and its why you had mercy invincibility in the old days of gaming. That said DR1 was also a pretty early release on the 360, I'm more confused as to why this continued until DR2. Only OTR has managed to tone them down a bit.

** Perhaps Frank’s plan was to have Ed fly a number of people out and keep returning until everyone was escorted out of dodge? Maybe he could ask Ed to call for backup? Notably, in Ending B, Ed tells Frank that he’ll have to pay for the extra fuel.

* Ending A Just Bugs Me: How
the Hell do you not Notice a Zombie in your Helicopter before you got on?. Its not like there were that many places for it to hide. Also, how the hell does a brain-dead Zombie lie low and prepare to ambush you in mid-flight anyway? This is just DiabolusExMachina at its finest.

* Why do none of the survivors ever question how they are all supposed to fit into the ''one'' helicopter Frank tells everyone that is coming? You can't squeeze fifty people into your average civilian helicopter, no matter how hard you try. There are even some instances where it would make sense for someone to bring this up in order to deliberately stir up unrest, such as when Kindell is trying to rouse people for his alternate escape strategy.

** It's possible he wanted to organise the media leaks himself. He meets Frank on the helipad and doesn't seem surprised by his arrival. The plan might have been to let Frank (and whatever crew he brought) take a look at the situation in the Entrance Plaza, get some notes ready and then disable the jammer in time for them to broadcast, which also helps put him front and centre to explain the Santa Cabasa thing. The zombies breaking into the mall shattered any possibility of 'organisation' and by the time he meets Frank again he's helping Brad. Getting some media coverage would be good, but his plans didn't hinge on it.

* Carlito tipped off at least Frank that something big was happening in sleepy town Willamette. He also seems surprised that he didn't bring a crew with him. So then why then did he install a signal blocker if he ever intended the news to get out?

** Willamette is a small town in the middle of Colorado. It probably has local radio, newspaper and that's about it. Any national coverage would have to come out of town, by which point Special Forces/National Guard already had the area locked down. Communications out of the town had already been blocked which is why even Jessie - a DHS agent - can't get a line back to HQ. Frank had to charter a helicopter to get through quarantine and only knew something was up because Carlito tipped him off before the outbreak had even started. The outbreak itself probably only started the night before.

** [[RealityIsUnrealistic Not every mall necessarily has an arcade in real life]], this troper lives around several decently sized malls and at least two of them don't have arcades and the video game stores it has are very small. Also, the North Plaza was still undergoing construction so it's entirely possible it would've had a video game store and/or arcade, especially when you consider it's connected to Wonderland Plaza (the entertainment bit).
