* Why did Mayzie run from the bees? They wanted to pollinate the flower/collect the nectar, not sting her, and while it is established that killing the flower would kill Mayzie, bees don't kill flowers.

** I mean, just because they want to pollinate the daisy doesn't rule out the possibility that they could sting the ''rest'' of her body. Bees can sting if they are agitated enough, and if Mayzie makes the wrong move, the bees can do it quite easily, and in a swarm.
** Also, bees are just annoying to be around, and as a little girl, she's probably frightened by bugs.
