[[folder: Why was the Redcap wearing an already-red hat?]]
The mythology, and even Harry's description of redcaps, says that their cap is red because they ''make'' it red by dipping it in their victims' blood. But if the baseball cap is for the Cincinnati Reds, then it would be made of cloth that's ''already'' red. Dipping it in blood either wouldn't show up at all, or would make it ''less'' bright red!
