The ridiculousness of this is even taken in account by the Big Bad himself, who after losing attacks you and becomes the first and last real boss of the game.

After beating the last world, you are pitted against the Mole King who plays a variation of Whack-a-Mole against you. The ridiculousness of this is even taken in account by the Big Bad himself, who after losing attacks you and becomes the first and last real boss of the game.

In the end though, he comes around as he realizes they are not the same [[FallenHero fallen heroes]] bent on destroying mankind from his original world. Then the Emperor graciously accepts to share a drink with Subier and Rocbouquet.
