* The Tranquilizer Gun is often seen fit only for pacifist runs, but oh boy would you be wrong. This is a StealthBasedGame, so being sneaky and avoiding noise should be your first priority. The Tranquilizer Gun makes no noise, so you can shoot it any time without raising alarm. The kicker is, enemies shot by it would only wonder what happened before getting knocked out, without raising alarm. Even the target's partners would not raise alarm and instead help the target back on their feet, a process that takes a few seconds and make them open for a shot from the Tranquilizer Gun (and you can then shoot the original target to put both down). And for such a sneaky, nonlethal weapon, just one shot is enough to put any human enemies down - a headshot is instant while a bodyshot will take a few seconds. In essence, it's a gun that 'kills' any human enemy in one shot and is exempt from the alarm mechanic prevalent in a Stealth-Based Game, allowing to be used with impunity.

* VideoGame/MetalGearSolid: The Twin Snakes was the updated version of the original MGS for the UsefulNotes/NintendoGameCube, graphically enhancing the maps and adding the new game-play additions from MGS 2. The problem is that the narrow layout stages and limited number of enemies are the same as the UsefulNotes/PlayStation original. The new game-play features like first person shooting allow you to pick off guards and security cameras from a distance. Additionally, the silenced pistol has pinpoint accuracy and no maximum effective range. This makes the game much easier than the original.

* In VideoGame/MetalGearSolid3SnakeEater 3D, the Photo Camo feature, which lets you create camouflage from pictures taken with the 3DS' cameras, can generate camouflages that grant a 100% Camo Index, normally only obtainable with the Stealth Camouflage item only available in a New Game+, or the Moss Camo, obtained by holding up The End.
