** Even if not paired with the Paladin's superior equipment choices, the Parivir is a GameBreaker on its own. Its Flair skillset includes several Blade abilities, which deal double damage, cause status effects and have an elemental effect, ''at no MP cost''. Combined with Geomancy, which lowers enemy elemental resistance (essentially, making every enemy but the Tonberries and a BonusBoss weak to all elements), the Parivir can deal triple damage plus debuffs at zero cost, making it a better choice than even Dual Wield. The only drawback is that the Blade abilities only work with bladed weapons -- which have the greatest stats in the game by far.

* Passive ability Shieldbearer (any character can equip shields) + BlackMage + Fire Shield (absorb fire) [[DualWield +]] Ice Shield (absorb ice) + Thunder Robe (absorb thunder) = Completely immune to FireIceLightning. [[note]]You can also use any other combination of FireIceLightning shields and FireIceLightning robes, but as long as you equip something of each element you are ''golden''.[[/note]] BonusBoss Black King Nware actually gets in on this. [[SNKBoss It really makes him a bitch to beat]].

** Geomancy is arguably a better support ability for the Illusionist/Seer combo, Recharge/Ether Shot/Elemental Rend MP makes half MP unnecessary and Dual Wield takes time to master in a class with relatively low Magic growth not to mention that the weapon damage in minor compared to the Illusion.

* The Hunter's Sidewinder ability is obscene all on its own. It's effect is simple: It deals double damage to monsters. Most encounters in the game are with monsters (particularly if you're doing sidequests,) up to and including the final boss. This alone allows a Hunter to single-handedly carry the clan through most missions. Couple it with the Attack Up Support skill the class can learn and line up your shot just right and you'll be dumpstering most monsters before they can even approach. Gria Hunters can fly off to some obscure corner of the map and fire this move off without ever getting punished for it, while Hume Hunters have access to the Archer's Focus skill to make the attack powerful enough to one-hit kill damn-near anything.

* [[DiscOneNuke Lucking out in getting the materials for a powerful ability early (or abusing the Auction House once your clan takes over the entire region, or getting lucky with the trade function) can cause this.]]]] Of particular note is the auction house for Camoa, one of the earliest regions you can get Auctions in. The prize table for the region includes Ribbons (female-exclusive headgear that offers absolute immunity to all status ailments and debuffs, and can also be worn by anyone equipped with the Ribbon Bearer support skill) and Ninja Tabi (shoes that offer +2 Move, which allows for greatly improved mobility).

* Mirror Items, which reverses the effect of items. Antidotes inflict Poison, Eyedrops inflict Blind... and [[HealingPotion X-Potions]] do 200 points of damage. Guaranteed. With the accuracy of a standard attack. Your newly-recruited Seeq Ranger can now do more damage than your most seasoned units and can [[StatusInflictionAttack inflict nearly all the status effects]] in the game. For real lulz, team up with a Green Mage that knows Tranq (which raises accuracy. Oh yes), then go to town with 70% accuracy instant-death Phoenix Downs, Toad-inflicting Maiden's Kisses, etc. Combine with the ability that doubles the effects of items for laughs.

Combine it with Item Lore to double that 200 to 400. [[DiscOneNuke This by itself will carry you through most of the game]], only losing its value when enemies start to have more than 400 HP. For real lulz, team up with a Green Mage that knows Tranq (which raises accuracy. Oh yes), accuracy), then go to town with 70% accuracy instant-death Phoenix Downs, Toad-inflicting Maiden's Kisses, etc. Combine with the ability that doubles the effects of items for laughs.etc.

* Ranger + Item Lore (which doubles the effectiveness of potions) + Mirror Items (which lets you use items for the opposite effect) + Hi-Potion/X-Potion = 200/400 damage, with the same accuracy as a normal physical attack. In a game where most of the enemies have less than 400 HP. HilarityEnsues.
** Note it mostly counts as a CrutchCharacter that happens to last until the end of the main quest. After that damage per attack starts needing to be higher than 400.
** Another fun Mirror Items combination that can break maps wide open: Mirror Items + Tranq (Green Mage spell that boosts accuracy) + Phoenix Down = an instant KO with ''very'' high accuracy.
