* Near the end of Chapter 4, Majima manages to help Makoto escape from the Yakuza forces hunting for her, hiding in a back alley. Exhausted and terrified, Makoto collapses to her knees and clings to Majima's leg as she bawls her eyes out. That in itself would make for a completely serious scene... were it not for the [[MoodWhiplash flailing]] Majima does to try and get his leg free at first.

*** Adding onto his PhotographicMemory, Majima literally sees two dudes [[DanceOff breakdancing (as Komeki tells him that this Dance Off is kind of normal for these kinds of people)]] and instantly manages to copy their moves and turn himself into a DanceBattler at will. Did I mention he has ONE EYE!?

* The video tape substory usually counts as NightmareFuel due to the confirmation that ghosts and the supernatural exist in the ''Like a Dragon'' universe to a degree, until one analyzes the story in full and sees the little details that end up rendering the unnerving ghost story a total farce. Majima learns of a supposedly legendary porno tape and decides to try to get it for the Gandhara proprietor, who's [[SeenItAll seen all sorts of fetish material]] that he can't get it up anymore, with the legendary tape as his last hope. Then Majima seemingly gets said tape from a strange, cold StringyHairedGhostGirl after giving her some oden soup, he goes to watch it with the Gandhara owner and...it's a cursed tape, leaving them rather blueballed. After they leave the video booth, the girl materializes in the booth out of nowhere...with nobody around to haunt or curse. On one hand, pretty creepy, but on the other? It means Goro Majima and the Gandhara guy [[NoSell no-sold]] a [[Literature/TheRing Sadako]]-level cursed video tape [[AchievementsInIgnorance because they thought it was gonna be a really great porno]] and just wanted a good jack-off. It's made even funnier when Majima can go right back to the [[MoodWhiplash much more serious main plot about Makoto Makimura and the Empty Lot war]], having just managed to outsmart a vengeful spirit by sheer chance!
