** Although it doesn't come up in the episode, there's a meta-example here too: in the ''Series/BaywatchNights'' episode "Heat Rays," thinly-veiled NoCelebritiesWereHarmed versions of the Beach Boys turn out to be horrible monsters who gang-raped a woman in their recording booth. That's not funny in and of itself, but wondering what, exactly, led the Baywatch production team to hate them ''that'' much between an episode that treated them well and actually working with them is.
** A few commenters also noted with delight something Todd didn't mention: throughout this in-episode music video, [[FunnyBackgroundEvent poor Brian Wilson is dressed all in black and wearing a sullen expression that screams "I don't want to be here, and Mike made me anyway"]]. (It should be noted that the comment does NOT say if he even gained his pilot's license that way; [[EverythingIsRacist Speech seemed to launch into this rant for no clear reason]].) Eventually, the guy made up an excuse to get his co-pilot back in the cabin, just so Speech would leave them alone.
