* After a night of drinking, everyone except for Ye Xiu was late to practice and he proceeds to punish them by having them do push-ups. Bao Rongxing and Mo Fan pout at Ye Xiu to make him relent, which unfortunately for them, doesn't work.
* Later, Bao Rongxing, Mo Fan and An Wenyi complain about how tough Ye Xiu was on them and start trash-talking about him. Ye Xiu overhears and punishes them again. Poor Yifan, Luo Ji and Wu Chen get dragged into it as well due to being AccompliceByInaction.
** Wu Chen sees Happy's teamwork in great effect as the others connive him to turn the other cheek regarding their punishment. Wu Chen tries to enforce Ye Xiu's orders but fails.

* The very low-key roast feast between Blue Rain, Tyranny, and Tiny Herb where they use their drink of choice as a metaphor, and poor Pan Lin is clearly uncomfortable and just wants to leave.

* The moment is more cathartic than anything else, but when Tao Xuan starts lashing out at Sun Xiang for Excellent Era's loss, Xiao Shiqin (who isn't even the one being scolded) also pauses in his tracks and turns around with a half-exasperated expression, as if he's saying, "Seriously?"
* While handing over the award certificate, the chairman of the Glory association makes a joke about Ye Xiu signing with the wrong name. [[ActuallyPrettyFunny Even Ye Xiu laughs at this]].
* When Chang Xian defends that players' inability to tolerate alcohol is the trait of a true professional player, Mo Fan immediately drinks down a glass and pretends to pass out.
* Ye Xiu is on the phone with [[spoiler: his father]] and becomes alarmed at the thought of [[spoiler: his father]] visiting at Happy's promotion booth. Wei Chen then grabs Ye Xiu's phone and invites them to join Happy.

* Ye Xiu and Huang Shaotian reminiscing the past, particularly the memory where both were sneaking out from training camp, and the flashback ends with Ye Xiu getting bitten by a guard dog. On a meta level, it gets even funnier when you recall [[Literature/MoDaoZuShi another role]] of Ye Xiu's voice actor, who's deathly afraid of dogs.

** While briefly dueling Ye Xiu, Huang Shaotian's avatar suddenly trips in the most ungraceful manner... [[RealityEnsues because he's out of stamina]].

* A bit of RealityEnsues, but when Chen Guo asks him if he has any prior experience working with computers or knows any sort of technical know-how, poor Ye Xiu can only tell her that, no, he can't do any of that sort of stuff. When Chen, obviously frustrated with him, asks what he can do, what is his response?

* Ye Xiu and Huang Shaotian reminiscing the past, particularly the memory where both were sneaking out from training camp, and the flashback ends with Ye Xiu getting bitten by a guard dog.

** When Xu Boyuan sneaks into the VIP room, Chen Guo locks him inside and proceeds to gloat about it... and then Xu Boyuan breaks the locks. Needless to say, he's ''not'' amused.

* While handing over the award certificate, the chairman of the Glory association making a joke regarding Ye Xiu signing with the wrong name. [[ActuallyPrettyFunny Even Ye Xiu laughs at this]].

* Ye Xiu eating the cakes meant for Tang Rou. Not once, by twice.
** Better yet, in the first instance, Ye Xiu was meant to get Tang Rou to stop, having been fighting Tiny Herb for over two hours. He tries to get her to stop by telling her she's been doing good...but then goes into gamer mode when he sees her loss record and immediately forgets he's supposed to get her to eat the cake Chen Guo bought her and starts to give her advice while pointing out her flaws. All the while, in the background, Chen is trying to get him to stop.

* After Chen Guo gets upset that Tang Rou is spending more time playing Glory than with her, she scolds Ye Xiu and berates him for playing all day rather than doing any actual work. His response is to play a recording where [[ExactWords she explicitly told him that training Tang Rou in Glory also counts as work]], to which she tries to delete out of frustration.

* While Ye Qiu talks with Su Mucheng, Ye Xiu talks with his boss. Guo is worried that Ye Qiu is here to bring him home after Xiu reveals he technically ran away, but Ye Xiu assures her that he's the one who gets dealt with. According to Ye Qiu, however, he's here to help his brother, as he thinks he has had it quite rough, especially after he meets Chen Guo for himself. Mucheng, however, isn't buying it for a second.

* Ye Xiu and Huang Shaotian reminiscing the past, particularly the memory where both were sneaking out from training camp, and it ends with Ye Xiu getting bitten by a guard dog.

* When Chang Xian defends that players' inability to tolerate alcohol is the trait of a true professional player, Mo Fan immediately drinks down a glass and pretends to pass out. It's so obviously fake it's laughable.

* Sleeping Moon, or Xiao Chang as he's known as publicly, is a hardcore fanboy of Ye Qiu here. And how does his first meeting with Ye Xiu, his idol, go? He got fed up when Ye Xiu was taking too long to work on the registration and did it for him. All the while, Ye Xiu thinks he's part of another internet cafe and is not-so-subtly asking him if he's looking for work, no doubt trying to get out from underneath Chen Guo's thumb.

* Seeing his attempt to foil Ye Xiu fail, Xiao Chang pulls a RageQuit moment and pulls out his card before stomping off.

* Xu Boyuan (Blue River), the poor sod. Even in a live-action adaptation, the guy can't catch a break. Both before and during a meeting with the other guild members, he's spamming a friend request for Lord Grim. And during said meeting, when the other members discuss Lord Grim and possibly recruiting him, [[HypocriticalHumor Xu Boyuan brings up the possibility that Lord Grim could be a spy since he's refused to join any guilds]]. Later on, Bound Boat learns that Xu Boyuan managed to get Lord Grim's cooperation, but much like in the anime and novel, what started out as a recruitment quickly turned to hiring when Lord Grim turned the tables and started haggling. It takes Bound Boat explaining to Xy Boyuan by way of a play-by-play and showing a recording of their bargaining that Ye Xiu played him like a fiddle. Xu Boyuan is utterly depressed and is in the fetal position afterwards.

* Xiao Chang learns that the network manager is Ye Qiu, and much like Chen Guo, he's ecstatic and questions him about various things. All the while, Chen Guo is desperate to get him to stop, unaware that Ye purposely put on a mask in order to get Xiao Chang to realize who he was[[note]]Prior to being given the boot, Ye Xiu always wore a mask and hat over his face to prevent people from seeing what he looked like[[/note]] and get Chen Guo to stop skirting around Ye Xiu and start talking to him normally again.
** When Xiao Chang tells Ye Xiu he leads the Full Moon guild, the Battle God [[{{Troll}} decides to have a little fun with him]] and says he knows him from the leaderboards, but points out he had help from Lord Grim. Xiao has no idea that Ye Xiu is the player behind Lord Grim until he calls Xiao Chang by Lord Grim's nickname for him, says he plays an Unspecialized Character, then tells him he ''is'' Lord Grim. Xiao Chang can only splutter in disbelief before he rushes out of the cafe.
