* After anchoring his ship in the harbor, Daland goes below to rest, leaving his Helmsman on watch. The Helmsman sings a ditty about returning from the sea for a woman, then falls asleep. The Dutchman's ship sails into the harbor and drops anchor right next to him, and while the Helmsman wakes up, he decides ItsProbablyNothing and falls back asleep. Daland later comes up on deck and yells at him for not noticing.

* Daland’s jolly monologue when he brings the Dutchman home, which basically amounts to "Here’s that stranger who is very rich, he’ll be living here now, and oh, Senta, would you do me a favor and agree to marry him?" towards Senta and "She is the wife you need, right? Right?" towards the Dutchman. Bonus point is that both Senta and the Dutchman are far too busy locked in a HeldGaze to listen.
