* In "Week at Grandma's", Mama and Papa go on a second honeymoon at a lodge...which does not go well as planned to say the least. First, their tennis game gets ruined by a dog stealing the ball. Then, Papa accidentally loses their picnic while on a canoe ride. At dinnertime, their making up for skipping lunch is foiled by their meals being ''very'' small portions. Finally, they dance to REALLY loud rock 'n' roll music instead of slow dancing.

* Mama Bear's DeadpanSnarker moments. In "Too Much TV", when Papa asks how he can check the weather without watching the news, Mama answers with "Try this. It's called sticking your hand out the window to see if it's raining." Similarly, in "Too Much Junk Food", Papa asks what kind of healthy liquids he and the cubs should drink. Mama says, "Try this. It's called water."
