* From the prize task, the thing that most doesn't look like what it's called[[labelnote:*]]"Always good to start things off with clarity!"[[/labelnote]]:
** Josh brings in a petri dish of chlamydia, arguing that if you didn't know what chlamydia was, you'd assume it was just a pretty name. Greater Tom, fresh off of criticising Jenny's submission, points out that Josh got the task backwards and that his logic could apply to literally any submission, prompting this:
-->'''Josh''': Right, somewhere in my head, I changed it to "sounds like", but it's not what it- that's not what it is, [[KnowWhenToFoldEm and I'm glad that Jenny got two points]].
** Lloyd's submission of a priest, a tool for killing fish, is described as useful for a "sea monkey genocide".
-->'''Greater Tom''': So, it's used for fish-killing, is it? Is it a Welsh thing?\\
'''Lloyd''': No, no, you can kill fish wherever you like.
* "Fill your basket with hot chips":
** Lloyd, towards the end of the task as balloons have been popping all around his head: "Now I know how [[UsefulNotes/JohnFKennedy JFK]] felt".
** Greater Tom then begins to ask Lloyd a question about his children's parties having [[ItMakesSenseInContext cocaine and DNA tests]], prompting his wife Anne to claim that they aren't his kids, but Wil's. Wil immediately knew that he'd be the dad, considering the only two others on the panel were Jenny and the famously gay Josh.
** Speaking of Anne, her attempt sees her use the show's signature LoopholeAbuse by not just popping the balloons with her helmet and hoping for the best, but rather asking for a pair of scissors and gently funneling them into her basket, which gets her a nice tally of 40 chips. However, throughout her attempt, she screams as though she were a chimpanzee about to attack a hapless zookeeper, sometimes screaming while she's simply holding a balloon in her hands. When a particularly loud scream is followed by the sound of a balloon just deflating anticlimactically, Lesser Tom can be seen [[{{Corpsing}} barely holding it together]]. She also manages to get stuck in the plastic sheeting twice, the second time when trying to leave the room once the task is finished.
** Wil's attempt, which begins the "Wil is an ageing man" RunningGag of the episode:
*** Lesser Tom's opening salvo going into Wil's attempt:
--->'''Lesser Tom''': Did you know, there was a television show in the '80s, called ''{{Series/CHiPs}}''? I didn't, but this next contestant probably did, because he's older than everyone else, it's Wil Anderson!
*** Eagle-eyed viewers may note that, while Anne and Josh did the task on a safety mat, Wil did the task over the bare surface of the floor. This is all explained very soon.
*** Wil runs away with the task when he finds and redeems to vouchers good for one large serving of hot chips each, netting him a total of 332. Tom delivers them out on a sandwich board, and when the task ends, Wil offers the chips back to Tom. When Tom walks over to grab them, he slips on a bit of sauce on the floor and absolutely stacks it. Wil has no sympathy:
--->'''Wil''': Can I honestly say, the best thing about it, was the whole way through Tom had been so patronising to me because I'm the old guy with bad hips, so he's like "oh, [[TitleDrop don't slip on the chips, old man!]] Don't slip!," and like, at the end, BOOM!\\
'''Lesser Tom''': In case you were wondering why there was a safety mat for some of them, and some not, that- that's why.
* The "Build a scary scarecrow" task:
** The intro to the task?:
-->'''Greater Tom''': Alright Tom, next on that iPad of yours?\\
'''Lesser Tom''': I would tell you, if I only had a brain. That's a reference to ''Film/TheWizardOfOz'', a movie from 1939. [[RunningGag Wil gets it]], it's about scarecrows!
** When discussing whether the prop crows outside the trailer are enough to be considered a murder, Lloyd settles for calling that particular group an "aggravated assault".
** Josh, on day 2 of his task attempt, realises he's really just made a series of perches and simply gives up and just turns his scarecrow into a bird sanctuary, coming out to scatter birdseed around it. He ends up getting 12 birds in his patch.
** This exchange between Anne and Lesser Tom, while riding a zebra and wrapped in sheets, which Anne notes is somewhat similar to [[Literature/TheBible the journey to Bethlehem]]:
-->'''Anne''': You wouldn't want to be on this pregnant, would you?\\
'''Lesser Tom''': Mhm. Makes you feel for Mary.\\
'''Anne''': And Joseph. Poor bloke.\\
'''Lesser Tom''': Yeah. The first cuck.
** Anne's attempt itself was a representation of a Zebra who's just eaten and is now defecating out a human. It seemingly goes well, until Lesser Tom points out that [[HoistByHisOwnPetard Anne had placed a (fake) bird on the patch, which on the day she called a real bird]], getting her disqualified.
-->'''Lesser Tom''': Do you remember what the rationale was at the time...? You were directing the...\\
'''Anne''': (''Defeated'') I was trying to put it up the zebra's arse.
** Jenny's first half of the task involves greenscreen and a scarecrow which was made to give birds existential dread by being a robot scarecrow from the far future that steals people's jobs and incomes. In the second part of the task, she ends up getting 14 birds in her patch, i.e. 2 more than Josh, who had deliberately sabotaged his own effort.
-->'''"Well, look, I wasn't really using birds as a metric on this. I was like, well, what's the scariest thing to me? I'm the person completing the task, and it's not my fault that birds are too stupid to understand the similarity."''
** Wil dresses as a cow (an animal which Wil insists cries milk) and has a confrontation with his parents over inheriting the family farm. Said parents are two halves of an unpeeled banana, accompanied by an assortment of smaller animals. Wil later admits he should've just brought all that to his therapist rather than the show. He's still the only one to actually succeed in the task.
