* Robotnik, after realizing how loaded the temple is with booby traps, decides to use one of his gadgets to help him and Knuckles get through. Sonic, who doesn't have anything like it, is forced to run all across the temple, which leads to him crashing through the floor to reach the Emerald's chamber.

* Knuckles and his complete misunderstanding of how baseball works. First, he asks why he's supposed to be angry at the ball, questions the logic of running the bases back to his starting position, takes Tom's "give [the ball] a ride" literally by asking where he should give it a ride to, then he ''punches'' the baseball instead of hitting it with the bat, sending it through a scoreboard, and then he promptly declares himself the winner, all while happily claiming the bases for himself.

* Knuckles and his complete misunderstanding of how baseball works. * Knuckles reads the hacked text conversation between Sonic and Tom in Robotnik's lab in an incredibly serious tone, including going ''"Dot... dot... dot"'' at the loading messages. It's just a casual conversation, but the way he narrates it makes it sound like the enemy has just disclosed ''war plans''.
