** There are also some good moments in the same scene:
*** Gale grabbing a student’s phone and when the person the student was calling asks who she is, Gale does not hesitate to mention that she’s “Gale Weathers, author of The Woodsboro Murders” in an almost sales-pitch tone to the caller’s confusion. Dewey then has to pull her away, reminding her they’re looking for Ghostface.
*** The duo ambushing a student, with Gale grabbing his phone and Dewey jumping on top of the guy from atop a nearby wall.

** One of the first signs of the StylisticSuck approach to Stab is that not only does Casey Becker have a pointless fanservice shower scene before the plot even starts, but her shower inexplicably faces a transplarent plate glass window to the backyard, just so Ghostface can be seen prowling the yard in the background.

* During film class, after Randy insists Sequelitis is always in effect, other students name various sequels to try and prove him wrong. A TakeThat at Film/Aliens ensues, and one student tries to quote the film with "Get away from her, you bitch!" (which it is, by the way), but...

** Creator/HeatherGraham doing a shower scene that clearly wasn't in the original. Maureen even mocks the film for it.
** Creator/LukeWilson's dead-on impersonation of Creator/SkeetUlrich, only with the NinetiesHair taken to extremes.
** Creator/ToriSpelling as Sidney is a nice punchline to a BrickJoke from the first movie, where Sidney tempted fate by remarking that, knowing her luck, the film adaptation of her life would probably have Spelling playing her.

** And behind the scenes, Sarah Michelle Gellar was the only actor who didn't avoid Roger Jackson during filming, and she would call him the 'Scary Voice Man' and Troll him over the phone.
** She was also reportedly in such good shape from filming Season 2 of Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer around the same time that she kept outrunning the killer during the chase scene. Wes Craven put her in those boots specifically to make her run slower.

** At one point, Maureen asserts that horror movies are notorious for "excluding the African-American element" and tells her boyfriend that she wishes to watch a Creator/SandraBullock movie instead before Phil counters that Creator/SandraBullock isn't exactly "Miss Ethnicity".
** When Phil goes to the restroom, he waits impatiently for two guys in Ghostface costumes to finish doing their business. It's a fairly tense scene since there's no telling if they're actually Ghostface, but it turns into a humorous scene when the two guys turn their heads and give Blank Stares to Phil as if to apologize for taking so long.

* Joel the Camera Man, replacing Gale's previous Camera Man Kenny. He knows what happened to Kenny and due to this is very nervous and easily scared he'll share the same fate. Opinion may vary but his funniest moment is upon seeing Randy's dead body in the Van, in which he passes out after Gale and Dewey run. He bolts from the film right after.

* Sid and Gale are both pointing guns at the seemingly dead Mrs. Loomis fully expecting her to be NotQuiteDead...and then Mickey leaps up screaming, scaring the hell out of both of them before they gun him down.
